DO NOT BUY THIS DRYERI do not recommend this dryer if you ever want to dry sheets. Whether you put a single or 2 sheets in, they come out wound into a tight ball. I've tried drying them separately and I've tried using slower settings but they still won't dry and end up in a little ball. I've contacted Bosch and I've been told it's not faulty and it's working to specification. Clearly when you see 28+ reviews all saying this same thing (across retail reviews and product review sites) then there is something wrong.

Exceeded expectations[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried after reading some other reviews that this would take a very long time and clothes will come out damp, however after doing what many suggested in reading the manual and understanding what to expect from different cycles and settings, have gotten great results when trying full loads of washing. Clothes came out more wrinkle free than previous non-Heat-Pump dryer which had a wrinkle-free setting.
Although cycle times seemed long initially, I've found them completing early based on the internal sensor picking up that they're dry which has been great. Highly recommended.

My new dryer[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using nonstop due to the weather but intended use is for sheets and towels on a regular basis. I love it, it is quick and quiet. Very easy to clean the filter and the condensation tank ( which we haven't plumbed in yet). My husband researched the brand and model before purchase and it is everything he promised me it would be. No hesitation in recommending 👍

The "W" in WTX88M20AU - Stands For - WOW[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is an old saying "You get what you pay for", Pay More and get More. We have just received our new Bosch WTX88M20AU and are very pleased and impressed. One way to save money these days is buy quality products that last and are also energy efficient so will help pay for themselves over the long life time of the product. This Bosch dryer is rated a 10 Star* in New Zealand the highest I have seen.
The Bosch products are superbly made, the reason for going for a new bosch dryer, was because we had previously purchased a very high end Bosch Dishwasher and it has performed beyond our wildest dreams.
Thank you Bosch - So when it comes to replacing all our other home appliances at some point we will no doubt go with Bosch.

Living the Dream[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not wash for over a week, due to continuous rain, & with high humidity could not dry anything. I haven't owned a dryer for years, never thinking that I would ever need one. Bosh was my choice of dryer, on the delivery day I was so excited to get the washing done, started before the delivery.( not normal) Perfect timing! And wow ! Why did I deprived myself for not getting the best dryer in the world! So quiet, surprised how much I could dry in one load, and best of all I wasn't walking into a steam room. Thank you Mr BOSCH.

Great machineIt is an efficient dryer to use.
It drys the clothes well. Once you get use to the settings and adjust them,it is perfect.
It was hard to get use to the condensate container and attached hose system because it was all different to my other one. But it works well.
I've noticed no static is created with this dryer which is a blessing.
It does take longer to dry clothes but at least my laundry area isn't damp and hot like with my previous dryer.
I'd recommend this to others with no hesitation.

Bosch Series 8 Heat Pump DryerThe dryer works a treat and I cannot understand any of the negative comments re drying time or clothes still being damp. It's got so many awesome settings and if it is not perfectly dry, just keep it spinning. On top of that, the customer service of Harvey Norman Tauranga was outstanding - so helpful, super responsive and absolutely professional. Thanks for a great shopping experience and for sorting out the invoice for the cash back claim, really appreciate it.

Can you tip these dries upside down to place on top if a washing machine?

Hi Tony. Due to their weight and internal components, Heat Pump Condenser Dryers can not be wall mounted or put upside down. They can be stacked on top of a washing machine. We recommend using a stacking kit or at least a stacking mat to keep the dryer secure. We trust this helps

How frequently does the water tank need to be emptied?

Thank you for your question. How often depends on a lot of factors, but the main 2 would be what is being put in the dryer (towels or light clothing) and how damp/wet they are going in. No plumbing is required, but this unit does come with a drain hose so that the water is continuously drained which means you do not need to empty the water tank.

can we stack a washing machine on top of it?

Hi Rose. Thanks for your question. It is not recommended to stack a washing machine on top of dryers as the weight will cause damage to the dryer. However, you can stack this dryer on top of a washing machine. We would recommend to use a stacking kit to do this and the matching Bosch washing machine. Hope this helps.
