Making life as a busy mum easier for me to juggle washing as the Haier sensor clothes dryer does it all for me. The best thing, we haven't had any socks go missing yet either!

Questions & Answers

I am wanting to wall mount the dryer HDV40A1 above my washing machine. . Does that mean it is hung upside down. I want to duct it to the outside wall beside it, a short distance. Does this add to the depth required to hang it.

Thanks for your question! You can indeed hang this upside down, and it has a reversible decal to aid with the control options. The vent system should be a maximum of two metres with no more than three 90° bends, or made from 100mm diameter flexible plastic pipe where the vent system goes through the wall. It does not add to the depth required. Trust this helps!

This will replace a Fisher and Paykel dryer that is mounted upside down and has a venting adaptor that allows it to vent above the appliance. Will the F&P adaptor fit or can you supply such an adaptor, and is the pipe diameter the same?

Hi Moynanet. Thanks for your question. We would need to know the model number of your current F&P dryer to check if the adaptor would fit. The pipe diameter of this model is 100mm. Where is the rear vent situated? If you are standing looking at the front of it, is the rear vent top/bottom/left/right? Also can it be hung on the wall and does it hang upside down?

Hi Tans. Thanks question. Yes this dryer is front and rear venting. The vent looking at the dryer is bottom left. It can be wall mounted and hung upside down. That would change the vent to top right. Hope this helps with your query.

Hi inquiring about an earlier question re ducting. If this dryer does not require ducting where does the moisture out of the clothes go please?

Hi there, thanks for your question. This can be internally vented. The moisture is released through the front vents on the dryer and into the air, for that reason if you choose to have this internally vented you will need to have adequate clearance around the dryer and it is recommended to have it placed near a window or external wall.
