Maybe I don't know how to use this machine properly but it doesn't dry my clothes how it should do. Does not matter how many time I keep turning on over and over. Considering the pricing paid for these Miele machines (bought also the washing machine and vacuum cleaner) I'm very disappointed with all of them. The app does not work, it's useless. The sound that it makes when finish the cicle drives my partner and I insane. I can't not put my clothes to dry and go to bed at night because it will be beeping the whole night unless I get up and turn it off. I had so much expectations about Miele products and they really let me down.

My wife loves this Dryer
My wife absolutely loves this new dryer. She literally says that. Our old heat pump dryer (7kg) took up to 3 hours to dry a load and often stopped, saying the load was dry when it wasn’t (the sensor got it wrong). This one takes about an hour using the Cottons cycle.
The only teeny-weeny criticism is that when a load completes, the unit sounds a chime about every 30 seconds and it DOES NOT STOP. Maybe It turns off after an hour or two but if you’re in earshot of that chime I suspect you’ll turn the machine off well before that to save going out of your mind.

Fantastic dryer
This is our first dryer ever and it’s just great. Works really well, extremely quiet and does not consume a lot of electricity. Very happy with the purchase, only wish we’d done it earlier.

Among the best but could be better.
I love the light in the drum but wish there was a switch to turn it on for a while to have a peek mid-cycle. Lint collector is the best but I think it could be made better for easier clearing. Wish I could have option to silence the finish alarm which is rather loud. The stacking is an expensive and flimsy item that is not easy to disassemble if you need to move the dryer. Otherwise, a very efficient and well-made dryer.

Expected more for the price
Washing comes out still slightly damp, always have to run it on the "extra dry" setting, and sometimes x2 runs. Has been showing an error code a lot recently, with no obvious issues to fix. Have to switch it off and on multiple times for it to complete the load.

After much research, I decided to take the plunge and trust in Miele's reputation, and have been rewarded. This quality dryer is quiet and effective - clothes, towels and bed linen are all dried perfectly... one simply needs to use the right settings.
