Auto-dose draw leaks - design fault
The flaps that are used to drain the auto-dose reservoir of detergent allow detergent to slowly leak into the drum. They are missing a small o-ring which would prevent this. Machine was a replacement for an older quickly discontinued 10kg model which had the same fault. Spare parts ordered to resolve the issue on the newer machine also are missing the o-ring. If the auto-dose feature is a priority for you I would look at other brands. On the plus side, serviceman was knowledgeable, professional and friendly but it does seem like there’s an issue with the actual design of this particular feature.

Auto dose leaking
I just searched the internet for this design fault and found Peter’s review here. I 100% agree. I filled the detergent yesterday only to find it half empty today. It’s been overly hungry for detergent for a while and the penny hadn’t dropped. I bet Electrolux won’t foot the bill for the litres upon litres this of detergent this machine has wasted. I searched the shed and found a couple of o rings to add to the drain caps, a ‘feature’ that would be best not added to the design. I suspect even this will fail once the caps bend and I’ll be finding a permanent way to block the drain hole.

Great looking machine, gentle on clothes
We bought this machine a few months ago. We love how great the machine looks and all the great features - it’s gentle cycles (that look after our clothes), Auto dose, wool care, how much quieter is is to our old machine, and Vapour clean. And even though it’s fantastic at being so energy and water efficient, connecting to the phone is an extra bonus to be able to turn it on when the sun is out to run off our solar.

Great machine
I love this machine. Especially the auto dose function. The Wi-Fi connectivity allows me to know when the washing is done even when I’m down in the back yard. My husbands work clothes are coming up so much cleaner. He drives a loader all day so he gets covered in dust. Just love this machine and I am now in the market for the matching heat pump dryer.

Happy chappy
Stylish machine with nice features like the drum light and app connectivity that notifies me when the load is finished. Doesn't have an annoying jingle that goes on for 5 minutes when finished like our old machine.
Easy to use cycle options and the auto dose is a game changer coming form an older machine. Haven't had it long but very happy so far.

Easy to use and clean clothes than ever before
Happy with the machine. It is easy to use and has different wash cycles. With the app it makes life even easier which you can program your wash cycle and put it on remotely. My clothes have never come out this clean and now with the pre detergent mix I dot have the power markings on my clothes. Very happy with this washing machine

So easy to use, marvellous features.
We bought Electrolux 10kg front loader because our F&P top loader was playing up after 15 yrs. Best decision to go with Electrolux .Short 40 min cycle is easiest to use, load clothes, select wash, press start. Tells you when low on wash liquid and when wash is finished (SMS’s to mobile).

Great machine, washes really well
I bought this machine to replace my old Electrolux 8kg front loader. The old one had been amazing and I am always hesitant as to whether the new one would be as good. Shouldn't have worried, washes well, and with the new auto dose I just load and go. Life is just a bit easier. 🙂
