Love my new machine!
I love my new Miele washing machine. I've had it for about 2 months and everything is perfect. The delivery service was amazing - the techs who installed it took away my old machine, installed the new one carefully and took the time to explain how it worked.
The controls are easy to use and there are plenty of wash options. The two things I love most are the Powerwash & how quiet the machine is. The fastest cycle on my old Miele was about 90 minutes & the 49 minute powerwash on this machine gives amazing results plus it saves time. The new machine is super quiet. I live in a small unit and I hardly notice the machine working when it's on.

Sadly, had to be returned.
Very disappointed. Extremely violent shaking and walking during spin cycles even though it was perfectly balanced and yes, transit bars were removed. I could not put on a wash and leave the room, it had to be watched like a baby so that it didn’t crash into the wall. It does not know when to stop! Drum clean alert after less than 10 days use, which was done but then a grimey film was left over the whole drum after the very next wash, which was only lightly soiled. A subsequent empty wash did not remove this film, it had to be wiped off with a sponge. Only plus was that it could be returned under the 30 day money back guarantee.
I did like the look and functionality, especially the door opening to the right.

Unhappy Customer
Bought this in July 2022 as the old one of 10 yrs died. Upgraded and this model is terrible and wish we hadn't bought it. Certainly not an upgrade on the previous model. Cycles are crap and when you turn a cycle on it automatically closes the door so you can hit start but you have to turn off and on and try again on every 2nd or 3rd wash as it locks but doesn't start. Very disappointing considering the previous model had so many more options and was a far superior machine. This machine does not live up to the price we paid.

I think I like my old machine better
I was sad to see my old machine go... It had delivered 15 years of great service before the electronics in it packed up, and were more expensive to replace than buy a new one.
So I got a new machine, and I'm still not convinced. It does some pretty strange things, and I'm scared the electronics are a bit strange as well. I did 4 loads i a row last week and on the 3rd load, it just kept spinning in some thing... I had to turn it off for an hour and start it up again.
Not what you would expect from a Miele.

Would not buy another Miele washing machine
We brought our Miele WWD320 washing machine just over 2 years ago and don't like it at all. It has a metal rubbing noise when on spin and doesn't spin the water out of the clothes properly. I need to do a separate rinse and spin to get all the water out before hanging out the clothes. I rung before our warranty was due to run out and got no satisfaction from either Miele or the local Electrician. I just got asked a few questions and was told to try a few things. I didn't feel I was being helped much at all. Very frustrating after spending more money to get supposedly a better product.

Really happy with my choice
I've been quite satisfied so far with the performance of my new WD 320 8kg washing machine. It has a good choice of programs and I like being able to twig the program to suit my load eg shorten the wash, increase the water or add a prewash. It is very quiet and like other users I think it should have a beeper option for when the cycle is complete because you just don't hear it finish. My laundry all comes out clean and fresh and probably less crushed then my previous machine. It doesn't have a delayed start and when my children were younger i wouldn't have bought it for this reason as I needed to be able to have loads washed and ready to hang out when i got up in the morning or I wouldn't have been able to get it all done. This option is not so important now that they have grown up.

WWD 320 8kg washing machine
Everything works as advertised and it’s quiet, which is really nice! I’d love to give it 5 stars but we find the machine ‘walks’ in the spin cycle(?). So don’t know if we’ve not set it up right (we paid for installation); the legs are level and seems stable… so unsure? Other than that, washes nicely, 49min cycle is our go to and extra spin!

Disappointment with the 1400 rpm spin speed
I'm disappointed with the 1400 rpm spin speed on the WWD 320 model; it seems to leave more water in a load of washing at the end of a wash (towels, sheets, mixed loads of cottons), compared with my old Miele washing machine, no matter what size the load is. Washing comes out feeling heavy (more in line with a 800-1000 rpm spin speed) so I've been putting it through a separate spin cycle which helps a little.
