A Good MachineSo far so good. The drawbacks are that washing gets more tangled since there is no agitator. Secondly, there appears to be no provision for altering the length of a wash cycle. One hour and 16 minutes seems to be overkill. The upside is it is so quiet, it washes thoroughly and having the lint filters is a godsend. Our previous machine did not have filters and often produced an unpleasant smell. I can recommend this product.

Not as good as the old Excellence Model.Not as good as the old NZ made washers . Tangles the clothes, slow but washes OK. I bought it to replace the Fisher & Paykal. Smart Drive Excellence 7.5 which I used for 29 years, including 9 years of washing almost everyday for my B&B. This old machine had a simple control board with a choice of six cycles: favourite , permanent press, wool, delicate, regular and heavy duty. The new machine has 12 options, most I’ll never use. With the old Excellence, for choosing wash temperature, water level and spin speed you had an up-and-down movement of the selector so you could quickly make a selection. This new machine has only a one direction selector so, if I want a cold wash, I have to move the selector-light through all the other options first which I find wastes time. The new machine also takes longer to do comparative cycles than the old but doesn’t wash any better. It might hold more but without the centre agitator the sheets and pillowcases are in such a tangle that I could scream. Disappointed

Best machine we have had.Great size machine with good capacity. Quiet operation and water wise. Cleans clothes well even on the quick cycle,lid locks for safety as soon as machine is power on. Only improvement would be a favorite cycle instead of having to set each function every wash. Great machine.

New WasherDoes not have a lot of the good features of my old Fisher Paykel. Things I miss are being able to spin an item for a minute or two. New one spin is 18 minutes. I like to wash in warm water with cold rinse and this one doesn’t seem to have that feature.

Happy with itI've been using this machine for a month now and really like it. Its easy to use and does a good job with the wash. It has good sized lint filters and I dont have a knotting up problem as I had in my previous similar type machine (different brand).

Does the washing machine allow programming of only 1 rinse when using a delicate cycle? We are on tank water, and need to conserve water. I use the delicate cycle alot and with my current machine have to manually fast forward.Thank you.
