Great children's bed!
I managed to put this sturdy bed together all by myself with easy to follow instructions although hand screwing the slats to the frame did need patience as there were a lot of screws. In saying that the slats are strong and don't move about supporting the mattress wonderfully. I love the three draws on the lower row the top three are faux but finish the look of a bed that is very comfortable and stylish for my grandchildren. I purchased spring mattress's and they fit properly so you can push the trundler in under the main frame. My bed is on carpet so a bit tight pushing and pulling trundler so I presume it would be easier to move on wooden floors. My niece also has this same bed and is very happy with it. I bought the bed whilst on sale.

Expected them to last longer than they have
We purchased two of these beds approximately 3 years ago. About a year after purchase, the drawers underneath started to fall apart (I.e. the screws pulled out of the bottom and now the runners don't work properly); the castors on the bottom of both trundles are bent which makes it difficult to pull it out & push it in; several of the slats have broken, and I frequently have to tighten the bolts with the Allen key. My children are not boisterous at all, so have not jumped on the bed. Very poor quality.

Nice looking bed but not as functional as it seems
I bought this a few months ago for my 6 year old daughter. Upon unpacking, the drawers had some paint chips which was disappointing. The mattress we bought from Harvey Norman is a very tight fit which makes putting on the sheets quite difficult. It looks great but with a good mattress there is little headboard. In fact, you cannot see the headboard behind the pillow as they are the same height. The slats are quite bouncy but seem to support the mattress - just no jumping on the bed! I cannot have the trundler bed made up with sheets and duvet and push it under the bed - there is not enough room. But this may be normal. The bed is quite high so my daughter, who is 125cm, has to literally jump into bed! The drawers are handy for spare sheets etc - not huge storage but okay. For the price (bought on sale) it is all right but next time I may choose to find a better quality bed.

Trundler Bed
Smart looking bed once assembled. Took two of use to hold the parts together while screwing it together as it didn't seem to be a void fits in dome places. Overall happy with the end result.

Great Bed
This bed was exactly per the picture and my daughter loves it. It is quite a high bed so my 3 YO struggles to climb up into it, but we manage with a step stool. Also, the bed itself did have quite a few dings / scratches in the paint, which Harvey Norman were really helpful with - but John Young were not at all. I expected to be offered a discount but wasn't :(

Excellent bed
Our daughter just turned ten, she loves this bed and says its so comfortable. This bed should see her into her teens. We've used the trundler a couple of times and the kids love it.
