Rated 5 out of 5 by from Apple TV 5th Generation I upgraded from the 1st generation to this (5th) and it is well worth the money. You can download any streaming app you want. There is also Siri (voice control) so no more typing in long titles with the remote. You can also stream all free to air live tv. It’s great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good improvements to the remote Gen 5. Easy to use, with a much improved remote - especially for sweaty hands. I use this for running virtual cycling applications which it does glitch free (Zwift and RGT Cycling). All the other features such as streaming services is unchanged - still excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Apple TV 5th gen Does freeze sometimes when scrolling, have to turn it off and on again. Other than that it’s a fantastic product. Have been using the original one for years and it’s still going strong but the fifth generation has loads more features. Very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Picture and App Hub Apple TV is extremely useful for those without a smart TV. You will need an apple ID, wi-fi and HDMI cable 2.0 to connect and you will be able to download all your favourite apps to view (with subscription) from the Apple TV. The picture quality is always impressive, providing screen savers and auto-shutdown options if you happen to fall asleep on your couch. Apple TV plus is Apple's own channel like Prime or Netflix and it requires a subscription but it isn't too expensive. The shows they deliver are mostly very good, there are not thousands but what is given is quality acting and directing. You can also buy and rent shows through Apple TV. It also collects all channels to give you information and choice about whether you want to subscribe to Paramount or others, accessed in one window instead of going out and back into each individual app. I like it so much I bought one for my parents. You can also download Netflix and Prime Video (Amazon Subscription) apps.

I love the new remote … i’ve used the old one and this one is way easier to use now that you can click on the arrows

Could be better The box works well as it's supposed to but there's no separate audio out if you have a surround sound system that's not HDMI switchable and the remote is over-sensitive and fragile to use. It's not made for strong hands. Typical Apple product - they restrict it's compatibility and use gimmicky hardware.

We aim to dispatch orders within 2 days. Delivery costs are calculated based on your location and the size of your order.
