Rated 5 out of 5 by from D3500 with upmarket 18-140mm lens This is a nice simple starter SLR. I bought it to keep in a dust proof case, in the car, as my “wish I had a camera” camera. LOL. Used it at a motorcross event that I was stewarding at one of the safety points. It went really well. The image quality is right up there. This particular lens is excellent too, a good all rounder. Yes it was noticeable that the camera was slower than my D7100 or D750. But it served the purpose, giving me a quality camera when I unexpectedly had some photo opportunities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good starter DSLR Good beginner DSLR and the longer 18-140mm lens is better than the stock 18-55mm so 90% of your shooting can be done using only one all round lens. It is quite heavy with the bigger lens and you need a big camera bag.
