HARVEY NORMAN SOCIAL MEDIA COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
WIN ONE ECOYA Prize Pack! (“the Promotion”)
1. The Promoter is Harvey Norman Stores (NZ) Pty Limited trading as Harvey Norman, 72 Cavendish Drive, Manukau, Auckland (“the Promoter”).
2. This Promotion is only open to New Zealand residents who are 18 years or over and who are residing in New Zealand at the time of the Promotion (“the Participant”).
3. Employees and contractors of Harvey Norman or their immediate families or any company associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.
4. By entering this Promotion, the Participant acknowledges full acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Promotion, including all eligibility requirements. The Participant also accepts that all decisions made by Harvey Norman are final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion.
5. Participants acknowledge that the Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook and that Facebook has no liability to Participants in relation to the Promotion. Participants and winners agree to fully release Facebook from any and all liability associated with this Promotion. All information Participants provide in connection with this Promotion is to Harvey Norman and not to Facebook.
6. The Promotion commences at 8 am NZST on Thursday 2nd May 2024 and closes 11:59 pm NZST on Monday 6th May 2024 (“the Promotional Period”).
7. The Prize is ONE ECOYA Prize Pack. The package contains 1 x Vanilla & Tonka Bean Diffuser (200ml), 1 x Sweet Pea & Jasmine Mini Diffuser (50ml), 1 x Guava & Lychee Sorbet Madison Candle (400g), 1 x Maple Mini Madison Candle (80g) & 1 x Lotus Flower Room Spray (110ml) valued at $214.75 (“the Prize”).
8. The Promotion is limited to one entry per person during the Promotional Period. No entries will be accepted after the Promotional Period closes. Harvey Norman takes no responsibility for any entries not lodged correctly through the Harvey Norman page on Facebook or any entries or files that are corrupt, damaged, lost or inaccessible.
9. To enter the Promotion, Participants must, during the Promotional Period:

complete the entry form with the following: full name, email address, phone number, and answer to the following question: Which is your favourite Ecoya fragrance? Participants must follow the instructions on the Promotion Facebook post to correctly submit the entry.
10. Participants warrant that all information submitted by them is true and correct and does not infringe anyone’s intellectual property rights. The Participant also warrants that they are the owner of the email or the Facebook account through which the entry was made. Harvey Norman takes no responsibility for any dispute arising between the deemed Participant and any other party who may have submitted the entry.
11. Entries that are illegible, incomplete, contain explicit language, have been generated by automated means or do not comply with these terms and conditions are invalid. Harvey Norman reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Participants as required (including their identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any Participant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
12. Harvey Norman reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Promotion. Tampering includes the use of any automated entry software or any other mechanism or electronic means that allows a Participant to automatically enter repeatedly the Promotion.
13. At the end of the Promotional Period, Harvey Norman will randomly select a prize winner from all eligible entries received during the Promotional Period. Harvey Norman’s decision in relation to this Promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into. This draw will take place at the offices of Harvey Norman Stores (NZ) PTY Ltd, 72 Cavendish Drive, Manukau, Auckland.
14. The winner will be contacted by Harvey Norman via email. All Prizes must be claimed by the winner responding to the email within fourteen (14) days of the email send date. If the winner does not respond to the email within fourteen (14) days or are not eligible to win the Prize, the Prize will be redrawn within twenty one (21) days of the Promotion closing date, until a winner of that Prize is drawn and notified by email.
15. Harvey Norman reserves the right to verify the identity of the winner by requesting the winner to provide suitable identification of proof of age, address and identity prior to awarding the Prize.
16. The winner's name may be published on our website www.harveynorman.co.nz and our Harvey Norman Facebook page. Harvey Norman reserves the right to use the winners name, details and photograph for promotional and publicity purposes.
17. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
18. Delivery of Prizes may be delayed due to the Prize being a pre-released product or is a large delivery item. Prizes which are pre-released products will be delivered once the product has been released. Harvey Norman will advise the Participant of any delivery delays.
19. The Prize is subject to stock availability. Harvey Norman reserves the right to substitute the Prize with an alternative prize of equivalent value if the Prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond Harvey Norman’s control. No cash alternatives will be available in lieu of the stated Prize.
20. By entering the Promotion, the Participant’s consent to their personal information being used byHarvey Normanfor the purpose of conducting this Promotion.All entries into the Promotion become the property of Harvey Norman. Harvey Norman's Privacy Policy (www.harveynorman.co.nz/corporate-information/privacy-policy.html) will apply to all personal information that Harvey Norman collects from the Participants.
21. Harvey Norman reserves the right cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion or these terms and conditions at any time and for any reason before the end of the Promotion and without prior notification. Harvey Norman shall not be liable to any Participant or winner for any loss or damage incurred as a result.
22. Except for any liability not excluded by law, Harvey Norman, its employees, contractors and any company associated with this Promotion, shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to indirect, special or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Promotion or the Prize.
23. By entering this promotion, Participants elect to receive marketing communications via email about promotions, product, services, events and/or offers from Harvey Norman.
