Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great sound, but cuts out. Love the audio output of this unit, but watching TV is frustrating. Soundbar continuously cuts out after a second of silence in any TV show, then takes a second to 'wake up', cutting out a second or so of dialogue. This is shown as happening by soundbar display showing sound output, again and again. Frustrating. JBL responded by stating this is normal, but I disagree. It can't be normal for one second of true silence to cause the unit to hiccup like this. Have read this happens with music playback, as well as console gaming. (in game menu scrolling etc) Please patch the unit to stay active for more than a second. Even 5 seconds would fix this issue. Am sick of missing patches of audio in movies/TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Equipped Soundbar I bought this a few weeks ago, after already having being pretty happy older sb450. It’s another step up again in sound quality, crisp and detailed highs, with thundering bass. Could feel a bit warmer with some more mids, but nothing’s perfect, this comes close though. Great usability, easy setup and stylish looks! Very easy to wall mount even! Would highly recommend for anyone who doesn’t have space or wants to do away with the old bulky 5.1 systems

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant fort the money Had a 6 year old basic Yamaha Soundbar, just purchased the JBL Bar 3.1 from HN, plugged my three 4K devices in and a PVR via Optical and was amazed at the clear audio/music and the subwoofer is awesome and adjustable, even two guests are impressed. So this s JBL Soundbar is highly recommended.

I listened to many and this is by far the best one. Easy to set up and works perfect with my Samsung nu 8000 series tv. You feel that you are part of the movie.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection in sound quality and bass!! It’s been two weeks since I got this and set up was a breeze with HDMI and intergration with your TV and devices is almost automated! I’m a musician and I know quality sound and this setup will suit the fussiest of Audiophiles! I have had $6,000 car sterios and this is just as good!! Earth shattering, unwavering bass along with fantastic highs and mids. I did note after a week of use the mids improved, straight out of the box they were a little tight but give it a week and it’s absolutley stunning the sound a sound bar and (large) subwoofer can create. So glad I bought this. Top tip, if your having issues pairing the sub look it up on you tube, there is a nice hack that takes 30 secs to watch. Do yourself a favour and spend a little more and buy this!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish Constantly changing settings to get a decent sound, this is a very disappointing product, The bass speaker makes popping sounds constantly, I’ve had this for 4 months I’m sick of it, constantly trying to get a decent sound, I finally disconnected the mongrel of a this today, What a waste of money, Very unhappy
