what's the performance of the built-in graphix compared to a card (rough equivalent will do). and can i add a card if desired, or am i stuck with the built-ins?

Good question Bruce! Integrated Graphics Cards are built into the CPU or attached to the motherboard and share system memory, suited for basic tasks. Dedicated Graphics Cards have their own memory and are suitable for more demanding workloads. It might be possible to add a card, but depends on the motherboard type used by the manufacturer and the CPU type. Hope this helps clarify! ^CO
