Purchasing a new computer, but not sure how to get photo’s, emails & documents transferred from one PC to another? Forget the drama of DIY, our Techteam technicians can transfer your nominated data from your old PC to your new computer.

Booking your service

This service will be completed in store. After you have made your purchase you will receive a call from your local store to arrange a time convenient to you. You can also call the store directly to make an appointment. Both the old and new device will need to be brought into the store. Old device must be in working order, and data accessible.

We aim to dispatch orders within 2 days. Delivery costs are calculated based on your location and the size of your order. Furniture may take up to 8 weeks to deliver as most products are made specifically for your order. Some Customer Direct products are shipped from overseas and may take longer to arrive. Some goods may take longer to deliver if a product is currently not in stock. A staff member will contact you where this occurs.

Easy returns

If you feel your product has failed a Consumer Guarantee (as defined by New Zealand Consumer Law) then don't worry you can easily return it to your local Harvey Norman store. We'll even pay for the postage if you live in an area where there is no store. Our returns policy covers any purchased item ( conditions apply).

Hi You mention "Data Transfer" in your heading. Does that include all apps? I want to transfer apps and data from an old computer to a new. Cheers Tom

Hi, Can you transfer data from a laptop that will not turn on. The lights are on but nothing apart from the mouse is on the screen
