Rated 3 out of 5 by from good potential, but too many issues [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a few weeks ago and was unfortunately very disappointed with it. The panel is nice, controls are great and the screen seems like it's going to be fantastic. I actually purchased 2 and both screens had major issues with their power management and sleep functions. They would wake intermittently from sleep without for no reason at all, sometimes would not wake at all and other times completely disconnect from my PC. After a long search online and lots of trouble shooting, I ended up returning them at a loss because the issues were too frustrating to deal with it. Also important to note that the monitor stand design is extremely inneficient and takes up a huge amount of space on the desk and sits very far forward. I would avoid this monitor.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does not wake up well. I have had a 3 monitor setup with all 3 being this model. The display is nice, getting all 3 to work was tricky, had to make sure game mode was off, but I am not sure if that is a fault of the monitor or graphics card. from what I have read, think it was more the card. This monitor though has a very hard time waking up from an asleep computer. I have had times where anywhere between 1-3 monitors refuse to wake up and takes alot of fiddling to get them to work. Sometimes had to reset my computer to fix and lose all the items I had open. Other times when they come on they have setting reset like color temp, brightness, contrast etc. And yet other times they wake up the resolutions have all gone screwy in windows, the order of the monitors change and how they are orientated. This leads to a cross my fingers everytime I wake my computer up as to whether I am going to spending time "fixing" everything up. So far over the past month it has been about a 50/50 chance. If I had of known sooner that these monitors were tv's posing as monitors I may have gone a different monitor.

Great colour, high refresh rate and no screen tearing thanks to G-Sync. Also love the smart features and use the screen as a TV to stream Prime Video. The remote is a great addition as it allows easy switching between different inputs without having to fiddle with the monitor.

Except graphic designing, I’ve been playing Dota 2 at full high graphics and watching 4K movies. And I have to say I really love my new purchase. The colors are bright and amazing, the blacks are rich, I don’t see any artefacts, unless the played resolution is low. Its crisp and clean. The two lights underneath I mostly don’t notice. They turn off as soon as the screen goes black (movie ends) which really gives me a cinema impression. The backlit is subtle and reflects on the back wall nicely. Legs take a bit too much space for my taste, in terms of the depth they take as well as how angularly pointed out they are. But after a while u’ll be fine with it. If your desk is deep enough. Overall I really like my new monitor. Make sure to use right quality display cables.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's a Smart TV disguised as a Monitor It's a Smart TV disguised as a Monitor, The displayport support is flakey and glitchy and clearly not something it's "meant" to support. It's ability to wake up when the computer wakes up (what makes it a monitor and not a TV) is marginal at best and occasionally either doesn't work, or has weird other quirks you wouldn't expect on a monitor. It was cheaper than any other 4k 144hz monitor I could find, but in retrospect I wish I'd paid more and gotten an actual monitor.

I need need repairs on it this month which was repaired within a week from Samsung's team ( 3 years warranty). Was very excited to get it back so quickly.
