Rated 5 out of 5 by from It turns me on! Very impressive! It's amazing to use an ultra-widescreen 1000R curved monitor for the first time, upgrade from Asus VG279Q which is 1080P IPS panel. At first I wasn't used to it, I was a little dizzy when watch it, but I adapted the next day. I Simple to do some screen testing, no dead/bright pixels, not any light bleed, it's perfect! The gaming experience is so far so good, my eyes can not see any bad like ghosting. Very happy!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from False 165Hz Claim and Cheap Build Don’t buy it – false advertising and poor build quality Don’t buy this monitor. The Samsung G55 34-inch does NOT run at 165 Hz as advertised. I tested it with multiple laptops, and the result was the same every time. Regardless of the HDMI cable or the device used, the maximum refresh rate is limited to 100 Hz. This makes the 165 Hz claim extremely misleading. The build quality is also very poor. The plastic casing feels cheap, and my unit had a visible gap on the left side of the monitor, which clearly points to bad manufacturing and quality control. Overall, this product relies on the Samsung brand name rather than real quality. Between the false refresh rate claims and the poor physical build, this monitor is not worth the money. Avoid it. There are much better monitors available for less.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dont get if gaming on console I bought this a 6 months ago and have returned multiple times to have repaired as the monitor will just turn off and on making gaming completely useless. I have been told this is because i have been using a console which it is not compatible with (Ps5 and Ps4) however instead of just playing at a lower frame rate or lower resolution the screen will just completely turn black making gaming unplayable. If this is the case then there should be warning of this on the website especially if they are advertising as a "gaming"monitor.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok for Office, not for gaming I have had this unit for a while and it has operated well. The Power/menu button is annoying to operate as it is difficult to get to the menu and navigate around. As separate On/Off would have sufficed. Also disappointing is that whilst Samsung advertise 165hz, it doesn't. 100 hz is the highest it can go, so the advertising is misleading. The Axis adjustment is ok, but the base stand is very wide and consumes a lot of space on the desk. Image sharpness is ok, but not the best due to minor ghosting and no amount of adjustment fixes the problem, as expressed in other reviews, a bit of ghosting happens which indicates poor quality control. Would I buy another Samsung? No as it is too frustrating to operate, poor quality control, and the 100 hz is the max not 165hz..
