Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst monitor ever I bought this monitor about a month ago, and it has been nothing but trouble since day one. Nearly every day I face the same issue: constant “No Connection” errors that can only be fixed by unplugging and reconnecting the power. On top of that, the monitor sometimes powers on by itself just to display a blue “No Connection” screen. The experience is made worse by the unnecessary “smart” features Samsung added. Instead of powering on quickly like a proper PC monitor, it takes close to 30 seconds to get going. For a premium display, this is incredibly frustrating. After this experience, I can confidently say I won’t be buying another Samsung monitor again.

It’s been great to have such a large monitor to game and watch Twitch on as well. If you buy this monitor, it will put a smile on your face every time you use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Immersive Gaming [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some initial software issues but has since been fixed with the firmware update, not auto updated though, needs to be downloaded from Samsung Support. Screen is responsive, colour reproduction is great. No blurring on fast moving gaming. Would happily recommend this product to anyone looking for a large format monitor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only buy if you have a single PC and no sleep mode [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this monitor approx a month ago and am extremely unhappy. The issues: - Doesn't label HDMI and DP connects as such, or let us name them, always calls them PC (consoles may be diff) - Doesn't let you choose an input port, it tries to be smart. This causes massive issues to do with it's auto-detect feature and power save modes (see below) - Will wakeup when a sleeping computer is woken up, but then will automatically power down after 60s saying it cannot detect any device (the device just woke it up, but it cannot detect it?!?!) - Forces you to press the "Home" button and go to the annoying smart TV interface just to change the input device - Cannot turn on your monitor via physical button on the display, must use the remote - Cannot change input device via a physical button on the display, must use the remote - Remote takes two presses to get it to work, suspect first press is a "wake up". - Smart TV home UI shows constant promotions for streaming services. This is a PC not a TV@#&$! Bottom line? Samsung is treating Gaming PC users as idiots and the "intelligent port detection" breaks the usability of the monitor. a) Forces us to use a smart TV interface and assumes that we will only ever have a single PC connected. Good luck if you use laptops and a PC. Every single laptop and PC is called "PC". You try and guess which one is which, I cannot! b) If you don't turn off your monitor manually via the remote and let your PC go to sleep: When you wake up your computer the monitor wakes up, but then shows the dreaded 60s countdown of "no monitor detected". Which is incredibly ironic since the undetected monitor is what woke it up. The only solution? Unplug the cable at the back of your monitor and re-plug it back in. c) If you want to customise your viewing experience via RGB controls, well give up now and go no further, the controls are terrible to use. I should note, that from a gaming POV it is a fantastic monitor. If you only plan on ever having one PC connected to it (and maybe consoles, I've not tested that scenario), and you only manually shut down your computer (never sleep), then you should be good. Note that this includes the power mode to turn your monitor off after x mins of not using, you cannot use that otherwise it's pain city.

Aside from gaming, the best part has been using this as my work screen. Invest on good HDMI cables and it is seamless to switch between your consoles and your workstation.
