Look no further - This is a fantastic printer
I spend many hours looking at different printers, and made the choice on this printer mainly due to being an “Ink Tank” as well as paper size. The best choice I made. My wife & I run a small business and we are also involved in local communities. We print flyers on both A4 & A3. I am very happy with our purchase, very easy to set up out of the box with clear & simple instructions. The print quality is outstanding, fast print speed in single & double sided print modes. We are very pleased with this well priced product, and we have no hesitation in recommending this printer.

Good but not perfect like it used to be
I'm not sure why Brother is going backwards in their product offering. Let me run down the positives, then the negatives.
1) Their support is better now than in the past.
2) They used to make a really nice machine that I owned for almost 10 years. It could print 11x17 scan double sided, print double sided and had all the functions they sell today but cheaper. This machine was the only one I could find that was close but won't print 11x17 but does double sided scanning.
3) The "tank" is not really a tank. It's just a bigger cartridge which is odd, maybe marking ploy to meet Epson which looks like a real tank!
4) The software is and has always been weak. I have multiple instances of Brothers utilities and I'm never sure what or which one to use. I always get a new one when I get a new machine, but often time use the older on to accomplish my goal.
All in all they make the best printers hands down. I have 4 and the basic laser is a work horse!!!!

MFC-J55955DW Review
The printer was hard to setup. Some links on the website didnt work. A screenshot, step by step approach would work better. The print quality is good, but not brilliant and crisp as i expected. I had trouble findind a contact number to get help.The manuals section was hard to navigate. When i entered the model number in model search for FAQ's, it said there was no section in FAQ's for this model. Weird!
I persevered and got it done, but it shouldn't have been that hard!!
That said, i'm actually happy with it, it does what i want, and works fine.

Very pleased
I'm very pleased with this multi-function printer, copier, scanner and fax. So easy to set up and connect to my Windows 11 lenovo laptop. I was told it was more expensive to run because of the cost of the ink cartridges - while this might be the case, definitely worth it for me (as I am printing mostly word documents). Speed is great, one of the faster home office printers out there, and the finish is great - no smudges. Also has duplex settings for print, scan and copier = very happy customer, would recommend.

Don't buy Brother
By far the worst printer I have ever purchased, EVER!!
People should avoid Brother printers, especially if you run a business!!
For starters it will never print from Adobe setting properly.
No matter the setting (Auto, Portrait, Landscape) it will always print portrait.
Next it can never understand the paper in the tray 1. It is set to A4 on the printer, Adobe has it set to A4, yet it constantly keeps asking for Mexico Legal, whatever that is.
The output tray even when extended is flimsy and the paper does not sit properly when it is printed ending up with mixed multiple sheets that need to be manually re-organized.
Overall a waste of time for any serious business who requires and efficient printer.
Brother products are no such products, they are cheap toys that are not fit for purpose.

Reliable, Fast, and Perfect for Home Printing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Brother MFC-J5955DW for a few weeks now and I’m genuinely impressed. The print quality is crisp, colours are vibrant, and it’s surprisingly quick for an inkjet. The large paper capacity and easy wireless setup make it perfect for both home and small office use. Scanning and copying are effortless, and I love how quiet it runs. Definitely a great all-rounder and excellent value for money!

Great Value for Money
Great A3 printer for a small office. Prints fast, ink lasts a long time, and the two paper trays mean you’re not constantly refilling it. Setup was straightforward and WiFi works fine.
It is pretty big so make sure you’ve got space for it. The software isn’t amazing but once it’s up and running it just does what you need. Overall really good value and has been a solid, reliable machine for us.
