It’s compact and it fit nicely in the printer stand we have. The printer has a vibrant print color, and ink install was very easy. It has a wireless function that works with my phone. I also love the double sided printing option; it helps save on paper. Overall, i highly recommended the HP Smart tank. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

It prints really fast (9 pages/minute for color!) and the ink seems to last forever. I've been using it for a bunch of crafts projects and still haven't had to refill yet. The smartphone app is really great and simple. I can print event tickets and photos right from my phone over WIFI. I also like the design, its modern looking at looks very good in our office. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great small office printer I purchased the HP 7005 as a replacement for my old inkjet printer from a different brand, taking advantage of the Insiders offer. Initially, I expected it to be slightly larger, given its intended use as a small office printer or a high-volume home printer. However, I was pleasantly surprised by its compact size, which turned out to be quite convenient. I was a bit apprehensive about the initial setup, especially through the HP app, but everything ran smoothly without any issues. Refilling the ink tank was a breeze, with no spillage or ink leakage on my fingers, a relief for anyone who has struggled with cartridge refills before! Printing from my desktop, laptop, and phone has become an effortless task. The printer's feature that allows me to send a file for printing even when I'm away from home eliminates the need to copy files to a USB stick or send them via email. Additionally, the privacy pick-up option ensures that I can control printing tasks before my arrival at my home office. I'm impressed by the printer's speed when it comes to text and black/colour photo prints. The capacity to handle 200-gram cards and 250-gram photo paper is perfect for my needs, as I frequently print leaflets and high-quality photo prints. The vibrant colours are nearly identical to how they appear on the screen, although some adjustments to my screen display were necessary to achieve precise results. HP claims that the included ink will last for two years, but of course, this depends on the printing volume of each user. Though I seldom use the copy function, I decided to put it to the test, and it performed remarkably fast. The 128 MB memory buffer seems to be doing its job well. Scanning documents is a function I frequently utilize, and I'm especially fond of the PDF output option, which is practically the standard for exchanging business documents nowadays. Another standout feature is the ID copy function, which allows users to copy both sides of a document onto a single page, a time-saving convenience that many users will appreciate.

I did a test printing for color pictures, and also tried scan some documents, so easy to figure out once you connected to your PC. And I am very satisfy with the printing quality, very vivid color and clear, even beyond my expectation. Setting up procedure is straightforward even for first time user like me. You need to download APP from APP/Android store first. I highly recommend to follow on each step displayed in the HP official videos, and when you finish each step, the APP will remind you to move to next. Overall I am very satisfy with my decision for this printer, so easy to use and also not heavy to carry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from After 27 years of faithful HP service, I bought another one of course I bought this HP Smart Tank 7005 recently and am exceptionally satisfied with it, especially the ink refill system with ink bottles. I previously had a HP Officejet 8630 (I think), which I had for 27 years with no problems till it finally had a printer system problem. Well, you can't complain about 27 years of faithful service with no problems, so of course I bought another HP product.

It does everything you need: printing, copying, scanning, and it even has automatic two-sided printing. Plus, the best part is it comes with up to 2 years of ink, so you won't be running out anytime soon. The HP Smart app makes it super easy to use, and the 2-line LCD with smart guided buttons is a nice touch. Definitely worth every penny. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m was doubtful that a printer that claims to not need ink for two years would do a good job. However, this printer eased my doubts. The copies are smooth and clear, full of the color I want. I print a lot of quilt patterns, and it’s important for the colors to be crisp and clear. This all-in-one does the job well. Learning to scan was a breeze. I would definitely recommend the HP Smart Tank 7001 to friends and family. In fact, my husband has since bought one for his office, as well!

The auto double sided printing has never worked, it pulls the paper back in crooked, so I am still doing that manually. I have had to unplug it and plug it back in several times because it has an error code that won't go away. It wont stay connected to wifi, so i just use a cord instead. I would not spend the extra money for this model again. However, it does print fast and the ink tanks are wonderful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP - You've converted me I'll be completely honest and state from the start that I have never previously owned and/or used a HP Printer prior to the Smart Tank 7005. Despite having several printers at work and home, I somehow fell into the habit of just buying the same brand that I have always previously used. Probably just laziness on my part but I just thought it would be "easier" to stick with what I knew. When the opportunity came up to be a part of this promotion, I jumped at the opportunity so see firsthand the differences between what I was comfortable with and a new brand. All I can say is wow! I had no idea that what I thought was the best and easiest brand to use wasn't actually true. The HP Smart Tank 7005 was simple to set up, works perfectly with my Surface Pro and other handheld devices, and prints, copies and scans perfectly. I was a bit apprehensive about using standalone ink bottles, but it is so much easier than I thought it would be and will work out a heap cheaper in the long run compared to cartridges. I can now proudly state that I am a converted HP user and have already purchased an additional Smart Tank 7005 for one of my staff. He also raves about the product. Keep up the great work and continue developing great products like this HP and you'll keep this now loyal customer very happy!

I was surprised that the way how they refill the ink. It’s with four ink bottles with screws cap. It is very clean process to refill the ink. The old printer I had always gets my hands dirty when I refill them. The setup and installation process is also straightforward. It is simple and mess free. Only took me 10 mins to set it up. The reason that I give it for four stars is because the cost of this printer is little bit expensive. For me as a student is not affordable. Thank you for insiders community for giving me this opportunity to trying out this printer. Saved my wallet and my time for looking for a good printer. My old printer is retired now. :)

The instruction for the setup with the help of the HP Smart App was a piece of cake. The instructions are laid out great and easy for anyone to follow. The printout of the printer is fantastic. I have been using the printer for the past couple of weeks daily and am amazed by the speed and quality of the printouts. The scanner is great. I have been scanning documents, and IDs for my school and work and the quality is great. I printed out pictures as well and the quality was great. He needs a printer that is of higher quality that my current home printer. I would consider this HP7001 Smart Tank printer somewhere in between home use and business use. It was easy to set up and get started. I can print from my phone or my computer. The tank ink is a game changer. It is efficient and does not produce wasted cartridges. I dont think I will have to refill the ink for a long time. This style of tank ink will not dry out like other printers. A real bonus is the app. I can scan documents with my phone and it provides excellent results. The print quality is clean and crisp. The printer is quick. Very nice looking on my desk.

It literally took me 5 minutes to download the app and installing the ink. The ink bottles are huge !!!! I believe would last me the whole year. About the printer quality: it’s clear and didn’t leave the page with any sight of wetness. I even print my baby pictures and it was awesome. Easily got connected to my WiFi and could send print orders through my phone. I’m not that computer savvy and I can tell you it was very easy.

The printer now keeps logging out of my internet and is now very hard to get logged back in, I have only been able to print a few pages in the last 2 months. This is the worst printer that I have ever had and I would not buy HP again!

The HP program walk you through setting up the printer and gives visuals and step by step instructions. I like the fact that there is a lot of ink so that I don't have to worry about refilling this printer anytime soon. I am very impressed with the quality of the printing. As you can see in the pictures the colors are vibrant and the quality of the photos is great. This makes a great addition to any home office.
