Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for what I needed it for After getting an audio cd out of the library I suddenly realised I had nothing to play it on as I'd gotten rid of my dvd/cd/bluuray player as it was old and not compatible with a new sound system. Looked at loads of different personal cd players and their reviews and decided on this one. Really pleased as the sound is very clear amd despite having a hearing issue I found with the earphones I actually had to turn the volume down. Earphones are comfortable and it's easy to use plus the Bluetooth connectivity means I can now play a cd through my sound system if I wanted to. Delivery was quick as received it 1 day earlier than expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oakcastle CD 100 portable CD player This is ideal: easy to use, decent sound and attractive design. Definitely value for money and I like supporting a British business. I particularly appreciate the flexibility of connections: bud earphones (supplied), cable connect to speaker/headphones or bluetooth connect to speaker/headphones. (I have yet to try it in the car.) Tip for connecting to bluetooth speaker: turn the volume low on the speaker and higher on the CD player itself as this minimises the sound of the motor through the speaker. Superb service from Majority: placed order on Saturday lunchtime and it was delivered the next day - on a Sunday! Free Pamp;P too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oakcastle CD100 First of all, I ordered this item around 8pm and it was delivered just after 11am the following day. Super impressed with the Curry’s ordering and delivery. The CD100 is very easy to use and understand. Charges very quickly, great item to handle if you’re sitting down but not too good if you’re moving around, clear instructions. As a test I used my Bryan Ferry album because it has strong base sounds. The CD100 picked out the base beautifully and the stereo sound is excellent. You can switch the sounds between BBS, POP, JAZZ, ROCK and Classic modes easily and the difference is very distinctive. Really great CD player.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Pleased My Sony Walkman of many years age died on me, so I needed a quality replacement.I have a large collection of CDs.I am so pleased that I discovered the CD100 by searching the internet and reading reviews.I exchanged emails with Majority to clarify a few things. I was impressed with the prompt and helpful response.I have only had it a week, but it is meeting all my expectations.Enjoyable sound quality and ability to plug it into my existing hifi equipment.I have been using it with my Beyerdynamic headphones and also plugging it into my Bose speakers to use in rooms where I do not have a CD player.Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant quality-fantastic value I bought this to play CDs on my car, which has all the bells and whistles, but no CD player. It (of course) works perfectly but it is brilliant with the various speakers at home. I connected it with my eyewateringly expensive headphones via Bluetooth and the sound was amazing but when I connected them via the cable the sound was incredible-I could actually hear fingers sliding on an acoustic guitar. This little player which has perfectly intuitive controls has made us love and rediscover our CDs again. What superb value -especially as earphones and connecting jack, as well as charging cable are included.

An absolutely superb piece of kit which will help you rediscover cds or become an excellent addition to your cd collection.For me personally i wanted to buy this not just for a personal cd player but for a stand alone cd player that i could bluetooth connect to my soundbar.You can use this as a portable cd player,take it anywhere around your house while connected to a portable bluetooth speaker,how useful and cool is that.I highly recommend this product,if you love music buy this for your cds you definitely won't regret it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great to have! I received my personal CD player today. I had one years ago, but like many people went to MP3 players and got rid of all my CD's. Mistake! My wife and I had a great day spent going around the local charity shops buying 2nd hand CD's. I've just finished using my Oakcastle CD-0100 to listen to some Vivaldi. I was most impressed with the whole experience. The sound was so rich and after changing the equaliser preset to my preference I just lay back and got carried away with the beautiful sound. The player is light and simple to use. I registered for the 3 year warranty at no extra cost and know I'll get a thousand times my monies worth from this fantastic little device! WHY did I sell my old CD's........

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality speaks for itself Quite frankly there are too many products out there that all do the same thing. They therefore have to stand out by offering needless features, too many bells and whistles. I knew what I wanted and this portable CD player quietly delivered everything in addition to quality sound. All the desirable and necessary features are there: anti skip, a rechargeable battery that delivers long usage time, convenient back lit controls that activate when the player powers up. And best of all, it is Bluetooth compatible. Who could ask for more from a very reasonably priced CD player that offers a 3 year warranty, unlike the 1 year warranty offered by the competitors. So, there’s not much more to be said. Case closed.
