Rated 1 out of 5 by from Light is good... If you can get it to work I had this for about a month and they worked fine, and then all of a sudden, it wouldn't work. The most frustrating part is that I have 2 of them, and only 1 stopped working. I've been wrestling with it for hours. I've reset my connection, my wifi, my phone, my computer, I've tried other devices, I installed the iphone app, the mac app, but no matter what, it won't connect. It sees it as a device, it tells me it's going to hook it up, and then it just proceeds to not find it in the app. Crazy frustrating. App hasn't been updated in almost a year now anyway. Don't get this until they fix their app. It's unusable in its current state. Way too buggy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Only works sometimes It's good when it works. Unfortunately, it doesn't work all the time. At least once a week is disconnects and needs to go through the whole connection process. But sometimes, it won't connect at all. Can take 30-60 minutes trying to get it to work again. When I'm ready to start recording and have everything prepared but then the lights don't work because of bad software, that's a huge problem. All of this could have been avoided by giving an option to manually control the light when the connections don't work. Because of this, I can not recommend this light to anyone.

Gone are the days of huge light boxes that heated up your room, I own two key lights, not even because you need 2, but because they're just so cool. The most underrated thing that comes with Key Light, is the Mount that it comes with! You can setup and control the lights using the command center app on your phone, you can run the command center on your pc for updates, you can connect the lights to a hotkey to your stream deck to turn them on, change color temperatures. It's so unique in its shape and the amount of space it takes up on your desk, it's literally beautiful, well made, reliable, I've never had issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Consumer Lighting Kit [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you've ever set up an expensive lighting kit, you know it can be a pain to unpack everything and set up. This light will not be enough for a full TV or film set, but it's perfect for anything a normal, solo content creator will ever need for streams and videos. I will also say it has been an excellent addition to my virtual meeting setup, as sometimes might meetings last into the evenings when the room gets dark and the room lighting turns everything orange. Fully customizable temperature lighting to balance out your environment and controllable with the mobile app. Now anyone can light their setup like a pro. This light is REALLY cool.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unreliable Bluetooth and App. When I first got the lights (I bought 2 Key Lights) I was so excited that I looked over the fact it took me about an hour to finally get both of them to consistently connect to bluetooth and appear in the Control Center app. That should've been an early warning for me. The Control Center simply no longer opens up. I click the icon, I try to run it, and it never pops open. So... They're stuck at the settings I originally put for them. They look great at specific times of day, but I have 0 control over them at this point and can't adjust them. For the price, I'm very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Key Light is great for streams! I've been using Key Lights for my streams since they were released and they're an awesome improvement to my broadcast quality. I've been in 4 different rooms for my streams and having good consistent lighting is always very valuable to have. I really love being able to just plug them in, connect them to my WiFi setup and be able to control them with my phone or stream deck. They have a ton of power so I've alternated between having the power around 10-15% facing my for streams, but also have had them on high levels facing away from me to bounce off the walls and provide more light to the room overall. The C-clamp makes it incredibly easy to set up on any sort of desk too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No space needed! I've been using my keylights for over a year now and they are vital to my recording and streaming setup. As I work out of my bedroom, I don't have much space when it comes to lighting but with the keylight, space is the last thing on my mind. They easily clamp onto my desk with no hassle. My room also gets incredibly hot with my PC running so the fact that these lights don't produce heat is a bonus. When I first starting using the keylights, I only had one so I bounced it off my white wall behind it and it was still enough to up the quality of my face cam. However, if you have drawers under your desk, the clamp may not be deep enough to fit around them so keep this in mind.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great When It Works Control center is completely unreliable. Lights disconnect randomly and at the worst times. I keep Control Center regularly updated and have excellent wifi connection / nothing else in my workflow has these problems. At this point, I wish these lights had manual controls on the unit itself so I could expect to rely on them when I need them. #expandthatengineeringteam
