Re: your answer I don't think that answers my question. If I turn it ON via the smart switch then does the heater turn on and supply full heat or does it just go into a ready mode. Can you go and just power one on and tell me what happens please.

This is a Customer Direct product, and not one we carry physically. If you have this plugged in to your smart switch, and the heater is set to the ON position, then when you activate the Smart Switch, power will be supplied to the unit, which will then heat your room. The unit has one heat setting, and will rapidly heat up to max power, with no ready mode. Hope this clarifies! ^CO

I wish to use this heater in a bathroom on a smart switch to schedule it coming ON / OFF. Will this heater come on (with heat) when power is switched on.

Thanks for your question Aaron. Yes, you would leave the heater switch "on", but it wouldn't have any power until the smart plug turned on. As long as the Smart Switch is connected your WiFi network, you will be able to set this to run during that period, along with any other devices connected to that outlet. Trust this helps! ^CO
