Rated 3 out of 5 by from Might work for some but not all [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this brush to detangle my freshly washed 4A hair, the brush does detangle however it felt like I was ripping my hair out every time I combed my hair. The bristles felt like metal ripping through my hair even tho the bristles are not hard to touch. The brush/ comb did throughly detangle my hair and actually did not rip out more than a normal brush does, but I couldn’t get over the feeling my hair was being ripped out due to the noise, friction, and feel. This is more of a comb than a brush in my opinion. I like the color of the comb and the spacing of the bristles. The comb is very easy to clean.

Hair ain't bad at removing knots. His hair doesn't usually tangles. But every once in a while it does and i need to detangle it quick. I usually use a regular brush to detangle but I wanted to try something new and maybe targeted to make brushing easier. This brush just couldn't cut it. It's to soft to break into his hair and detangle any knots big or small. It would just brush above them. And my son would complain and cry more. So this brush will definitely be a no for me. It doesn't work. I wanted to love it but I just can't.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Only Brand of Hairbrush I’ll Use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having hair that goes down to my waist and a 4-year-old with long hair and a sensitive scalp, using a good hair brush is crucial. I have not found a brand I like better than Wet brush. I don’t know how they do it, but their brushes really are gentler on knots. It takes 15-30 seconds and my hair is brushed clean and smooth with no knots. I love the color of this brush and Wet brush designs are always cute. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve also started to care more about the footprint I’m leaving on the earth and how cool is it that they have figured out a way to make a plant-based plastic that they use for this brush?!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best detangling brush I own [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My ahir is kind of unruly; it has a little bit of a wave but it also looks a little bit straight, which makes it kind of difficult to style and detangle. I am really happy that I found the Go Green Detangler by Wet Brush because I can easily detangle my hair after washing or just when I need to bejsh it before styling. The bristles are thin, yet very durable, and are places separated enough so the hair does not break while brushing. The brush is really easy to clean also; the base where the bristles are has some open crevices that help remove any stuck hair strands and it dries very fast. Definitely recommended!

I use a very generic brush to brush my wet hair before washes. I thought this brush could be a fancier option with some benefits. But, the leaf design of the brush tangles my hair a little bit (which I can imagine would be 100x worse if I ever used this on dry hair). The bristle are actually too thin and fragile for my thick hair (even when its wet). And so, I'm scared of breaking the brush. I don't think it's made for all hair types (especially for thick, curly hair).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gentle but Strong [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this detangler, and by we I mean my son and I. He has a sensitive head, but a lot of hair, and it’s my job to comb is. This detangler has made it so easy to comb through without puking or hearing “ouch”. The handle as you can see is very comfortable for holding long periods of time. My husband did not like combing my sons hair because he himself has very straight short hair. With this new comb, he’s a lot more confident to do so without hearing my son yell or cry. It’s even more fun that it’s shaped as a leaf! I use one that first came out and I had gotten my son a baby version, but since he’s bigger now, this one will become his.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality, but a little slippery to hold [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed about this brush is the high quality plastic, it didn’t feel cheap at all which was nice. I tried it on my waist length hair a few times while dry and wet, which is when I noticed how slippery it is to hold. I have lots of hair and I can often just stick a brush in my hair and it will stay there, so when trying to brush through I lost my grip a few times. I also have sensory issues with my scalp, making brushing a little hard as it is, so I tend to stick to very gentle brushes. This brush is a little too ‘scratchy’ on my scalp which hurts, but the rest of my family found it nice since they don’t have the sensitivity issues I do.

It glides so easily through wet hair either after getting out of the shower or to comb through conditioner while in the shower. I have curly hair so usually only brush my hair when it is wet - with this brush I don't feel like my hair is getting damaged at all because the bristles are so gentile while still effectively removing tangles. The brush has a nice curve to conform to the shape of your head and it is made from plant-based plastic so it is perfect if you are environmentally conscious.
