It is easy to apply, smudges well I'd I need it softening and stays put lasting through the day or evening. Having retired, I have tried other good quality but less expensive brands in an attempt to be thrifty; however, that has proven to be false economy. No other eye pencil performs as well with longevity in both its staying power and use
