Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun, Same old Pokemon we grew up with. The game is like any other Pokemon game on the market but this one is decent. I haven't experienced any game ending bugs or glitches yet everything seems above board and working how it should. The only set back I could think of so far is how slow the dialogue is even with fast text setting. Not really interested in tedious dialogue. But other than that it's what it always is a basic Pokemon game that ticks all the usual boxes. I gave it 5 stars because it does it's usual thing. If I wanted a different Pokemon game I'd opt for something made different to the usual pick one of three starters. Identical to Violet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but... Great game, loads of fun, many hours of exploration, cool new characters and stories but... The performance is pretty bad. Some of the things you can expect to see in a short sitting: graphical glitches, camera bugs, text disappearing, frame drops, miniscule render distance, the list goes on. I personally dont find it too bad; I'm not playing a Pokémon game for the graphics after all, but be warned. I know a lot of people can't get into a game that performas poorly and if that's you, wait until the performance is patched. 4/5 would recommend once fixed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pokemon Scarlet - Honest Review I would give this game a higher review if it wasn't for the lack of performance optimisation, the constant game crashes and latency when in Tera Raids. Overall the game is really enjoyable with new Pokemon, new mechanics and finally having a multiplayer Pokemon game was a dream come true, once they finally give Quality of Life updates for this game it would turn into a 5 star rating.

There are some graphical issues (pretty much entirely aesthetic) but the quality of life improvements to the gameplay and really interesting roster of new Pokemon make this game one that grew on me and left a really good impression. I'm easily 100+ hours in and still finding things to do.

Great fun being able to link up and playing together with others as well as playing by yourself at any point as you progress through the game. Enjoyable game play for all ages

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Buggy but fun This game is the best Pokémon gameplay has been in a while. That said, the graphics, bugs and lack of voice acting make the game feel like a really fun game from 2012. I would recommend it if you like Pokémon gameplay and won’t be worried about the rest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally! Seamless open world in Pokemon! Finally, seamless open world exploration in a Pokemon game! This game does achieve its primary goal albeit with several performance issues. For one, it runs poorly: frame drops, frequent pop-ins, slightly longer load times when entering/leaving interior locations. I haven't reached the end game, but I also been hearing of performance issue in the post end game multiplayer. And while a better running game experience is something I was expecting, I cannot deny how much fun I've been having just running around and checking out what the sparkly thing is over that mountain. Seeing Pokemon in their natural habitats acting pretty much like wild animals do is amazing. And I have to say the story in in S&V is a lot more compelling than a lot of the past offerings. So, despite the performance problems, I would still strongly Scarlet and Violet as it's got several compelling plots you can choose to follow, wild Pokemon being wild Pokemon, and a seamless open world experience to run through and explore, plus an amazing soundtrack to keep you company as you run free!
