Super cheap and the same old Pokemon that works.
The game is like any other Pokemon game on the market but this one is decent. I haven't experienced any game ending bugs or glitches yet everything seems above board and working how it should. The only set back I could think of so far is how slow the dialogue is even with fast text setting. Not really interested in tedious dialogue. But other than that it's what it always is a basic Pokemon game that ticks all the usual boxes. I gave it 5 stars because it does it's usual thing. If I wanted a different Pokemon game I'd opt for something made different to the usual pick one of three starters.

Fun But Flawed
Pokémon Violet is a flawed but fun entry into the Pokémon franchise. Technically it's a bit of a mess: Other switch games have proven you can have decent graphical fidelity and fairly stable frame rate, even Breath of the wild managed this as a launch title. Violet features large empty dull looking areas, and frame rates that are, at times, unforgivable. However I'm still having fun. The presentation of Pokémon battles is fun, new mechanics seem to work well and exploring an open world catching Pokémon will always be a blast.

Best Pokemon Game in Years
The game has its bugs and the graphics are not fantastic but honestly the gameplay, story line and game mechanics make up for it. This is the first time in years I've actually completed a pokemon game and not been extremely bored by the end of it. The characters have tonnes of personality, the settings are adorable and the stories all tie neatly together. I had a tonne of fun playing it

Fresh Return for Pokemon
What can I say, it’s a Pokémon game so you’ll have a pretty good idea of what you’re getting into. It has a few optimization and performance issues but don’t let that deter you, this is the freshest feeling Pokémon game in a long time. Seeing the Pokémon living and interacting in the world is a nice change of pace. If you have enjoyed Pokémon in the past, you’ll like this.

Fun new experience, but with minor glitches.
Only started the game but I am having fun with it. It goes back to the more traditional way of catching and battling pokemon, similar to sword and shield. I thought it may be more like Arceus style, but it isn't.
There are some minor fps glitches that happen, which haven't happened with other pokemon games. Slightly annoying but nothing unbearable.

Most opened world Pokemon game you can find
Compared to previous Pokemon games, Violet is weak on the story and full of bugs, but as a first entry to the series and if your not interested in the story and can forgive a few bugs, this is the most beautiful and freely explored Pokemon game you can find with over 30 hours of gameplay and plenty of Pokemons to catch.
