Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Sturdy and Easy To Mount [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This arm is a game changer. I am able to position my microphone in any orientation and still comfortably talk into it. I was constantly running out of space for my gaming setup but now with this arm, I am able to free up space and put some other electronics in its place to make my streams better. Setting up the boom was very simple and stuck to my desk perfectly. The build quality is very well made and durable in case I bump into it or push it out of my way when I am not using it, I am not afraid that I will break it. This is the quality item I have been looking for to level up my gaming setup.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value and functionability [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this but it didn't actually fit the first mic I intended (or hoped) it would. It did however fit my Yeti mic perfectly. It has a solid professional look once installed and moves with ease. It was a little hard to find a stable place to move it around and out of the way, but that is my own problem because of the position of my desk (I ended up moving atounf a few things and got it to work). Just make sure when purchasing that you have the room to be able to position it somewhere functional and that the mic is a fit. If you have that, you will love this.

Now with my new Zoom S3 Boom Stick I can get the perfect position and stability. I appreciate the option to choose either the semi permanent mount or permanent. It has a screw on clamp that works wonderfully, it uses pressure to stay in place without damaging what its attached too. It also has a fixed permanent option with screws. I love how easy and fast it is to set up and move locations. It has special cord latches to keep everything looking neat and the cord stays safely out of the way. It also has four pivot spots so it can be used sitting at any height or standing. The mic can also be turned and rotated in any direction.

I recently started a remote job where I conduct a lot of meetings online. Since I installed this with a professional microphone and lighting, I've gotten comments from several colleagues and clients about how good I sound and look. It doesn't take too much organization to put for a professional front in an online meeting, you just need to make it happen. This boom was extremely easy to set up. Straight out of the box, you just need to attach the base to your desk and adjust the joints. It seems to be holding up pretty well, and easily pivots o. The base to swing it out of the way when not in use. Definitely a good purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for my workspace! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Boom Arm is a great addition to my voiceover desk. For starters, it’s very easy to assemble. The Arm took less than a minute to make it functional. I noticed right away that the metal bars were sturdy and could confidently hold up my mike. Also, moving the arm around is easy and it holds its position nicely. It also looks great and catches people’s eye when I’m at Zoom meetings. I am thoroughly impressed with the Thronmax Boom Arm and am happy to have this as part of my office space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I have been using this in our home office which also doubles as a home recording studio- with just a normal audio mic it works great! My husband did add on a shock mount and his favorite condenser mic and he did notice the extra weight made it harder to get the stand to hold in place. He did get it to work but could only position it in very few ways. So we haven't used it for any recording but for his work meetings and a regular mic it works perfectly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Practical boom arm [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this boom arm because it is easy to attach to my desk. This does come with directions on how to set up and it mostly contains pictures. The back of the boom arm has little clips that I can keep the cord attached to and this boom arm supports the microphone I have which is a lighter weight one. I do not know if this arm would support a heavier microphone. I can push down on this boom arm to talk and then when not talking I can quickly move it out of the way.

I'm a marketing professional for a local mortgage company, meaning I create content daily. We have both a series of informational videos and a podcast, and this arm is great. I love the way it adjusts, and it makes it super simple to keep the mic stand out of shots and away from the subject's face. Also incredibly easy to set up and move around, and doesn't take up a ton of space in my gear closet. Highly recommend this stand!
