Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stereo Issues I bought 2 of these so I could link them for stereo, however, it is extremely problematic trying to link them. It usually takes me a good 20 minutes of pushing the shortcut button before it finally connects. I have read everything I can about the issue and how to link them but it always requires hitting the pairing button over and over, turning it on and off, removing the connection from wi-fi and reconnecting and other trouble shooting before they pair. I love the sound, size and appearance but am extremely frustrated with the ability to operate them in stereo mode.

And couldn’t manage without one as I listen to my music a lot in my room!! The sound is brilliant, it as a better sound than my previous speaker. It is a good size. So far it is working perfectly!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great speaker, NOT BACKWARD COMPATIBLE!! This speaker has great Bose sound but IT IS NOT BACKWARD COMPATIBLE WITH GEN1 SOUNDLINK PRODUCTS!! The Gen1 products use the "Bose Connect" app, but the Gen2 use the "Bose" app. So if you have any previous Soundlink products you cannot link them to Gen2 for Party Mode or Stereo Mode. Bose - this is a deal killer! Why would you make them this way? I own numerous Bose products, including 3 other Soundlink speakers, but now I can't use them with the new Flex even though you advertise all Soundlink products as being compatible. I expect more than this from Bose .....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Speaker! I got this speaker a few weeks ago and although it’s small it really packs a punch! The bass is phenomenal, and I think the audio really can get pretty loud. This speaker is pretty easy to take around with you and the battery life is pretty great too. I have another Bose model and I really think you can’t go wrong with any Bose product. Pros: -size: easy to carry and bring places -sound: great bass -battery life: decent amount of time in between charges Cons: -doesn’t have a premade carrier handle strap, but can attach a carabiner to make it easier to carry

You can easily connect it to any device via Bluetooth and the compact size of the speaker is perfect without compromising the sound quality. The sound is great, loud and clear. Another plus is the minimal amount of buttons, which allows you to control it without having to use the app. The compactness and the lightness of the speaker paired with the long battery life, makes it perfect for taking it in any indoor/outdoor adventures. The only thing missing, which would greatly enhace the portability of the speaker would be to include a carrying case to avoid any damage. The case would also serve as a storing case preventing any dust from getting into the speaker for long periods of not being used. The black color makes it look sleek and elegant.

I travel a lot for work and was always missing a portable speaker. Not only can you fit it in your luggage but it can also fit in your purse/backpack. The sound is incredibly for a small speaker and it is 100% user friendly. So easy to connect and control. I only wish it came with a traveling case so it won't get scratched or damage in transit.

I still use my 2018 mini speaker…but I do believe the sound is a bit richer with this new flex mini speaker !! I have everything Bose when it comes to my listening pleasure ! I was actually drawn to this particular speaker because of the color…lol …but I’m happy that I decided to purchase, even though I didn’t need one !! It’s beautiful & the pink color is breathtaking !!!

The build is rugged making it great for beach days or hiking trips. Battery life lasts a very long time, and the Bluetooth connection is reliable. It’s compact yet powerful, and I appreciate the sleek design. Overall, it's the perfect speaker for anyone who wants portability without compromising on sound quality. The easy pairing to his phone & quick hook up to Spotify has made his days much more enjoyable.He loves the sound quality, the portable easiness, he can attend meetings on the go in the skid steer or other equipment with ease. He loves being able to multitask! The only thing he doesn’t like is there is apparently no volume control on the speaker. But he said it’s no problem to use his phone to accomplish this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average Portable Speaker I bought this a few weeks ago and I am to say the least disappointed. First off my bad, I saw Alexa and I thought built-in, it is not! You have to pair with an Echo device or something to allow Alexa to be available. Second the microphone for the speaker phone, my friends tell me is terrible. So I cannot use it as a speaker phone. What am I left with? A pretty nice sounding portable speaker that does nothing more than blue tooth

After a good amount of use, I can say the product is good quality and is built very well it is sturdy and you can tell it's made of high-quality materials. I have the Sound Link Max which is also a good speaker and has the same aesthetic. But the Sound Link Flex Portable Speaker (2nd Gen) keeps up with the Sound Link Max of course the Max is better in sound but that comes with the size of the products but the sound quality is still outstanding when it comes to the Flex it is a very good everyday use speaker for doing chores, gardening, and chilling. I tend to listen to music every day doing pretty much everything so I use this speaker a lot and think it is a great speaker and suits my needs when using it as much as I do. So I think it's worth it to get one. Pros - Very Portable - Well Made - Nice Design - Sound Quality - Sturdy Carrying Strap Cons - Less Customisable - Doesn't have a charging port cover - Doesn't have an AUX port (If you care about that stuff)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top Quality Bluetooth Speaker [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a long time user of the original Bose SoundLink Mini from 2013, and have shown off its quality to new friends as recently as last year. I can confirm that this new addition to my speaker collection will also be shown off for years to come. The setup process was extremely simple and straightforward - no techy knowledge is really required as the Bose app takes you through all of the steps. There was a firmware update for my device that the app installed very easily. The sound quality is exceptional for a speaker of this size (which is par for the course as far as Bose is concerned!) and, in the couple of weeks I have had it, has been with me on the go not taking up much space or weighing me down. The speaker is covered in a rubbery coating which prevent it from slipping about on a smooth surface but it can be a magnet for dust and crumbs. Battery life is also top notch - I haven't let it run down fully but it can last me at least 3 days with a few hours playtime a day. There is no aux port which may be an issue for some, but Bluetooth is all I would use anyway and it has a super wide range. I didn't get the original Flex but I've read that it used the old app - the big change since then is that there are now EQ settings which I sometimes like to play with to fit the media I am consuming. One great feature is the shortcut button - I have another speaker in the SoundLink range (Max) and, with a press of a button on both devices, I can have them both play in perfect sync. Very, very useful if I need to cover a couple of rooms with sound at the same time. If you are after something that can put out a lot of sound then the Max might be a better fit for you, but if you're after the best version of what most people would think of as a Bluetooth speaker, then you cannot do better than the new SoundLink Flex.

I get plenty compliments about the sound and it durable and charges fast and can be used while charging that’s a plus for some people. Bose, Great Job!!! My family and I have always been a fan.

I spent a lot of time researching and didn’t want to spend a fortune. I picked up this little beast when it was on sale and I am so utterly delighted with it. My music taste is varied from 80 to current day. I was a little raver in my youth so love that kind of stuff. Not once have I been disappointed with the sound quality and live the fact I can buy another to pair with. Don’t be put off buy size. You won’t be disappointed with this

I like the updated cable, upgraded Bluetooth, and new app options of this Bose Flex 2 SoundLink. Sound matches the older Bose, and the old “brick” style I owned from even longer ago! Ha!
