He had a the Clip 3 in his trunk we immediately got it out and the fun begun. Great sound quality (I'm an audiophile so yeah) perfect portability and the battery is exemplary. We had a 6 hour drive across provinces and it kept us entertained throughout the drive and more hours in. Best genres include EDM and pop. Hip hop also comes of well with deep bases and clear mids. Afro pop and house were expelled very as well. Overall it's ana amazing gadget to have perfect for medium sized rooms/apartments, road trips and even hiking. Definitely a good part of you digital arsenal

I am one of the oldest workers there (63). Believe you me their music is not MY MUSIC (ROCK 'N' ROLL).This speaker is my way to represent old-school rock. All the KIDS at work stop to ask who is that? So I get to educate them on MY MUSIC. This speaker lets hear my music above all the ambient noise. It says play time is 10hrs I have yet to get it to play that long on a full charge. FULL volume pretty much no stop (except during lunch 45 mins) it has played for 81/2-9hrs

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing little speaker. I am amazed with this new toy of mine. The sound quality is EXCELLENT and it lasts a very long time on a charge. It also recharges in a relatively short amount of time. The speaker is very well made and feels very sturdy. I haven’t tested the waterproof capabilities nor do I intend to do so but I have no doubt that it will live up to its advertised capabilities. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this speaker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Full Sound For Such A Small Device I recently bought this to use in a vehicle that has no Bluetooth capabilities, so my intention was to use it for music streaming and map/street-type navigation apps audio. It does the job perfectly for both! I charged it fully out of the box. It took roughly 2.5 hours, and four days later I am still at 70%. (Great battery life and I only had the volume at 50%). Also, I found that my iPhone displays the battery life. I have not fully explored speaker phone function to comment to those needing this, but I do find the sound to be slightly less “perfect” than my music and navigation audio. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my decision to buy the Clip3 versus the other Bluetooth speakers I was looking at, including others made by JBL. It’s small, yet sturdy. It has very full sound even though I had read there are no bass controls. You can stream music indoors, outdoors, and in your vehicle flawlessly. This is a big device at a reasonable price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from They messed up my personalized gift to my sister I love this speaker! I have had one myself for 2 years and I take it everywhere with me! I wanted to order one for my sister who is about to get married and put her name on it and the speaker did not come in the right pattern. I had stripes on it in her favorite colors and it came in solid pink. If I wanted solid pink I would have ordered the solid pink one for $10 less... Also you can barely even read the words because the font is so small. I was VERY VERY disappointed. Do not personalize, such a waste of money. I'm just waiting for them to email me and tell me I can't return it.

Durable, great battery life, great build quality, sounds good, water proof, and gets way louder then a speaker of its size should. I love it. JBL is by far the best bang for your buck when it comes to portable speakers

What are the drop test results/impact specifications?

Thanks for reaching out. Our JBL Clip 3 is tested to be waterproof, it doesn't have a shock-proof rating. The JBL Clip 3 body is made of materials to protect the speakers inside but it is still well recommended to be careful not to drop the unit.

Shuts off at volume up

Why won’t it take a charge?

Try charging the speaker overnight. Move the charger around the charging port to see if that helps.
