It is a very affordable option for a drip coffee and blender with the perfect measurement to make a frappe, or iced coffee. Includes an easy to use measuring scoop and markings on the inside to show where to fill water up. The frappe feature is consistent however tastes better when you add syrup and flavours. Though I mostly do use it for iced latte and americano in the mornings when I work from home. The big tumbler that comes included is perfect portion size too to just sip on. Also, because there is a blender, I got creative and tried to do juice style frappes too. Cutting up watermelon, and adding protein powder with the ice and water was super tasty!

It's really straightforward to use—all the right measurements are marked on the mixing jug, so every time you get the perfect drink. With summer coming up, it’s perfect for making refreshing iced coffee and frappes at home without any hassle. I love that I don’t need two different machines for cold and hot coffee anymore. I definitely recommend this if you’re a coffee fan looking for convenience.

The only issue I have is that it does not blend the ice properly, resulting in large (sometimes whole) chunks of ice being left in the frappes, even after running the blender multiple times. Considering I bought it for the frappe function, I'm pretty disappointed :(

My partner loves his morning frappes, and what used to be an expensive stop at a coffee shop each day is now found using the Frappe Iced + Hot Coffee Machine from Sunbeam! We were so excited about all the different drinks and flavours we can make for our coffees! We nearly bought a blender, but now with the frappe making abilities we don’t need to. I’m now the best with technology but this is super easy and even fun to use! Already excited for tomorrow’s morning coffee!

It’s also quick to clean and doesn’t take up much bench space. I’ve been using it daily and it’s already saved me so much money compared to buying coffee out.

At first I didn’t know how to work it as I was overwhelmed with how to start. But then I scanned the QR code, and the instructions were super clear. Now I’m totally loving it. Makes perfect coffee every time :)

It doesn’t take up a huge amount of bench space and is so easy to use, especially with the instructions on the tumbler and frappe maker. Frappes are better than cafes, it blends them perfectly. We added some of our favourite syrups and it has saved us trips to Starbucks. Worth the investment!

Does it make super hot coffee?

Thanks for your question. The hot water coming out from the shower head is approximately 90°C - 95°C. After extraction, you end up with a coffee brew usually about 10°C - 15°C lower. If you are looking for the hottest possible: run a first pass with a cup of water to warm everything up, including the mug, then discard the water and brew your coffee on a fresh pass. Hi, you do need to add water each time you brew. It’s designed as a single-serve machine, so it doesn’t have a built-in water reservoir that holds multiple servings.

What cleaning does this machine need please.

Thanks for your question Kaye. Manufacturer recommends decalcifying your machine once per month to keep it at peak performance. Sunbeam Eco-friendly descaling sachets (EMA0015CL) are available for purchase from Sunbeam. To thoroughly clean your Frappe coffee machine, you can put the following parts into the top rack of the dishwasher: Reusable coffee filter and Brew Basket. The tumbler, lid and straw should be hand-washed only. Hope this helps with your query.
