Wonderful Juicer!
We decided to try the Breville Juice Fountain Cold to get into juicing. I’m so glad we did, as the juice we’ve made so far is FANTASTIC!
The quality of the machine and it’s components blows me away every time I use it. The plastic of the juicer’s parts and the jug is so thick, clear, and sturdy. The unit itself is very well made with a nice juicing strainer that cleans up so easily. The unit as a whole is very easy to clean. I do it by hand as it is large and bulky-but you can totally pop it in the dishwasher for ease.
We’re very happy with our choice and the brand overall. This is also our first Breville product.

I Like the Juicer but ....!!!!
It makes great juice quickly ... it is just like drinking flavoured water
The top lid gets blocked with pulp too quickly
I have to clean the lid out before the pulp bin and juice jug are full
so for every 2 ltrs I have to clean the machine twice
needs cleaning for every 1 liter juice
I vary the produce that I put through it
to see if it stops the pulp from blocking the top lid and chute
I have given a few things a go and it still blocks
the juice coming out of it is great
I find the motor needs to be more powerful
Overall I like the juice it makes and how quickly it makes it
I do not like that I have to clean the machine
for every liter of juice it makes.

They have ruined the design of this!
This is my 3rd breville juicer over many years and this one is awful. I can't work out why they have fiddled with the design only to make it more problematic. I am very disappointed and feel I have wasted my money for a clumsy machine. The pulp is too wet which means it is not extracting the juice efficiently, the juice leaks out of the sealing to the pulp bin. The jug is far too large and clumsy and a lot of the juice remains in the top central piece that now has a deep well in the bottom. Not their finest work. Why fix what isn't broken in the first place. Also you should be able to put all components in the dishwasher.

My new best friend!
I absolutely love this model! My juices are cold, done quickly, quietly, and the self storage pitcher is great for my family. The clean up is easy!!!! I tend to make several different juices that I bottle so that I can grab and go and the clean up between juices has been wonderfully quick. I read the reviews about pulp being wet, my pulp has been dry, with no remaining juice! In fact, I have recommended this juicer to everyone who mentions juicing in my presence. Whether I'm juicing for myself or my family of three, this unit works wonderfully!

Okay but you get what you pay for.
I’ve been using this juicer for a few months now and while it essentially does what it’s supposed to I feel compared to others it wastes a lot of juice. The remaining pulp is always still quite wet I find compared to other brands I see where the pulp is quite dry because it is extracting all the juice as it should. If you’re on a budget it’s fine and will make nice juice for you however it might be worth saving up if you can and getting a better brand.

Disappointing - Doesn't Juice Well
Bought this juicer 8 months ago based on decent reviews. I juice typically 2-3 times per week, sometimes more.
The best thing about this juicer is the pitcher. It would be fabulous if it worked how it was supposed to.
It does a terrible job at juicing- After first run- I am left with extremely wet pulp and half of it is barely even chopped- it fills about 1/4-1/3 of the pitcher. To get a full pitcher, I have to run the pulp through exactly 3 times after the initial juice, which then provides a very foamy juice, probably defeating the purpose of this juicer in the first place. Also- it leaves a huge mess to clean, and takes almost as long as my cold press by the time I am done. Sadly after paying such a high price, not even a year later I am on the lookout for a better juicer.

Love It
I had the Juice Fountain Compact which I love but my daughter took it when she moved and I didn’t even noticed. But when I saw this one I loved it even more because of large capacity of both juice jug with the cover which allows you to refrigerate make more juice and refrigerate and I definitely love the extra large pulp container which saves me time from having to stop to clean the compact juice fountain I every few fruits. Another favorite feature is extra wide chute which saves sooo much time because there’s no more cutting up fruits and vegetables since it allows you to put whole fruits through it. Breville makes the best juicers PERIOD!!

Dream machine
Bought one of these just before xmas to try to get the kids off expensive juice drinks!
Its been a revelation, get the fruit out of the fridge in the morning and they get a lovely cold fresh juice. A great machine, easy to clean with just a rinse. They no longer want the shop bought drinks. I cannot recommend highly enough, superb.

Will it take whole oranges washed but unpeeled?
Hi Joanne, While it does have an extra-wide 84mm chute feed, that you can insert whole fruits and veggies, the manufacturer strongly recommends that Citrus fruits with thick pith or skin should
be peeled before juicing. This includes oranges, lemons, and mandarins, as the skin and pith can make the juice bitter. We trust this helps with your query
