Rated 5 out of 5 by Buddy12 from Just do it. You won’t regret it. I purchased the Dreame A1 just over a month ago and it’s been a fantastic decision. We have a 1,200m² lawn split into two sections with thick NZ kikuyu grass and it handles it with ease. What used to take hours on a ride on mower now happens automatically. Setup was simple using the app. You just drive it around the boundary and set no go zones. Some initial lawn prep is needed, filling holes and clearing debris, but once done it runs smoothly. If it gets stuck, the app notifies you straight away. It takes about 9 hours to mow the whole lawn, but it mows, recharges and keeps going on its own, even overnight because it’s so quiet. It crosses our driveway to mow both areas and runs every 3 days, keeping the lawn looking perfect. You still need to trim the edges, but the time saved makes it well worth it. Highly recommend.

Questions & Answers

How far can the GPS map? We have 6 zones that are about 1000 m2 each. We understand that these would be done separately between each charge. Could it cover an area that’s about 14000m2 over a week?

Hi Jono, it can easily map all six of your zones, but its mowing capacity is designed for about 1,000 m² per day, meaning it can maintain roughly 7,000 m² per week. This means your full 14,000 m² area would take around two weeks to complete rather than one, as the mower automatically recharges and resumes work but is limited by its daily coverage rate.
