Rated 5 out of 5 by Daniel Ryan from Neat robot thay can handle tough lawns I was a little skeptical about this mower and if it could handle my large, uneven, tough, long lawn with lots of nooks and crannies at my farmhouse with its three small razor blades. But it did, and it can handle going under trees fine (it has no GPS). It's been a great machine so far. The radar is a little low resolution, and it has no camera, so it can get confused with smaller objects, like thinking long grass is an object. However, you can turn obstacle avoidance off for when the grass is long. I've had it for a couple of weeks, and so far, so good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Buddy12 from Just do it. You won’t regret it. I purchased the Dreame A1 just over a month ago and it’s been a fantastic decision. We have a 1,200m² lawn split into two sections with thick NZ kikuyu grass and it handles it with ease. What used to take hours on a ride on mower now happens automatically. Setup was simple using the app. You just drive it around the boundary and set no go zones. Some initial lawn prep is needed, filling holes and clearing debris, but once done it runs smoothly. If it gets stuck, the app notifies you straight away. It takes about 9 hours to mow the whole lawn, but it mows, recharges and keeps going on its own, even overnight because it’s so quiet. It crosses our driveway to mow both areas and runs every 3 days, keeping the lawn looking perfect. You still need to trim the edges, but the time saved makes it well worth it. Highly recommend.

Can it cross paving to another part of the lawn

Thanks for your question Muza. If you have multiple isolated lawn areas, you need to create a path between them or the mower won't work effectively. You can do this manually using the app after each lawn zone has been created, and mark safe points for the mower to travel between zones. Trust this helps! ^CO
