Provides supplemental heat quickly
Purchased to supplement heat in my guest room. Works extremely well to take the chill out. Heats up quickly - no need to keep on continuously as the room is somewhat small. I was nervous about a space heater but chose this because I trust Dyson.

The heating and cooling works well. It is noisy, even when on the quiet/nighttime mode.
The physical remote does not work well, and I find I cannot be more than a meter away for it to not working. However the app functionality works well.

Perfection!!!

If you’re debating on whether or not to get the Dyson hot + cool air purifier, just do it. I’ve bought so many cheap fans in the past that have broken and have been terrible to use. The Dyson is great. Perfect for cold winters when you want a heated room quickly and efficiently. Perfect for hot summers when you want a cool room quickly and efficiently. The fact that it purifies whist adjusting to your preferred temperature and oscillating the air perfectly, 11/10!

Third one with bluetooth a CHARM
This is our third Dyson Air Purifier and the best of the three as it is controllable from my phone and provides a lot of information re air quality. The heating feature is appreciated during cooler weather. This machine is a lifesaver during the smoke intrusion from Canadian Wildfires in Manitoba and Ontario affecting a once pristine northern Michigan.

Top notch purifier

Great purifier, scheduling is worthless for heat
I had the same model before and loved it. It lasted 10 years, had to replace it recently. The newer model is noisy even when it’s just sitting there monitoring the air. When you turn the fan comes on it really gets going, even on night mode it’s annoyingly loud. The worse part is I also use it to keep the chill off a larger room in the house. I’d program it for the evenings and forget about it. Now it won’t come on to heat unless you manually turn it on (new UL standard) so… It sits there making noise all the time, only comes on when air is bad (never is). If it does come on it blows cold air as it won’t heat automatically. I assume I’ll have a similar issue in the summer. The new update has made scheduling the machine worthless as a “hot n cold” purifier. I am extremely disappointed in this. Just know it’s good if you want a purifier, any hot or cold function is manual now.

Glorified fan/heater - useless purifier.
Have used for one month (24/7) in office space in very dusty/polluted environment. Doesn’t seem to do much in the way of purifying the air. The fan and heating function is good. It is quiet and powerful. But the display never changes to indicate any “polluted” air is actually being filtered and the filters still look brand new after a month.
If you want something that actually purifies air - look elsewhere for less money.

Where we live at spring time might need hot or cold depending on the weather. It heats the room very quickly and quietly. It heats up very quickly so you have instant hot air flow. The filtration is very good, it clearly purifies the surrounding air.

Great for big hall + dinning area in winter. I don't have to turn on the radiators anymore. Instead of heating the whole house just sets the room on right temperation. Bit Noisy on auto mode but I don't mind.

Life-changing for allergies

Great for allergy sufferers!

As someone who struggles with asthma, finding anything that makes breathing easier is a big deal. I was recently given the chance to try this purifier and within just a few days of using it, I noticed fewer triggers in the air. Dust, pet dander, and even that faint musty smell that used to linger in the corners of my room were noticeably reduced. I used to wake up with a tight chest and needed my inhaler more frequently, but since using this purifier, my mornings have felt a lot clearer and less reactive. One thing I appreciated was how quiet it runs I can leave it on overnight and barely notice it’s there. Paired with the myDyson app, I can view air quality details, filter status and usage history, ensuring better air quality for my family. Living in an area often plagued with unsafe outdoor AQI ratings, improving indoor air quality is extremely important to us, given both my husband and son have asthma and we all suffer from seasonal allergies. The oscillation and tilt capability, along with the even more refined controls with the app, enable me to direct air flow exactly where it is needed and at the perfect temperature, no matter the season. It heats up quickly and the fan settings allow you to cool down quickly, too! This is perfect for partners who have different temperature preferences. I tend to prefer moderate to high fan speeds and the white noise adds to my ideal sleep environment, too.

Great product..as always!!
I bought one of these for my elderly parents. They have used it as a heater and as a cooling fan. Both are excellent. Reasonable cost for running and heats up a room very quickly. Been a great help in the extremely cold times when the central heating doesn't cut it!

My new little robot friend
Using this for a partially basement space and find the air quality reports really helpful. Using the app to monitor the space when I'm not in the space is also really awesome. The heater is warm! Excited to test the cooling possibilities once the seasons change. Only thing - wouldn't recommend ordering directly from vendor website. Tracking and delivery were dicey, no support.
