Not only is it made out of tough glass (as opposed to plastic - way to go!) But when taking apart to clean I was able to seperate every part to ensure I was able to thoroughly clean leaving no sneaky residue! That is a big plus in a health conscious family home ensuring all appliances are cleaned properly before next use. This blender attaches nicely to the stand mixer and when I was done with it I was able to pack it away with no issues. I love the power in this machine and my smoothies were delicious and blended fantastically. 5/5 from me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kenwood Titanium Chef Baker XL stand mixer attachment ThermoResist glass blender is a remarkable addition to my kitchen. Its durability and robust design complement the stand mixer perfectly, though it is quite heavy. I was initially hesitant to blend hot pasta sauce in it, but the blender's performance quickly dispelled my fears. In just a few seconds, it transformed my sauce into a smooth, creamy delight without any discomfort. The blender's versatility, ease of cleaning, and safety features make it an indispensable tool for any cooking enthusiast. I am thoroughly impressed and delighted with this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement I dropped my first one, which shattered on tiles, so I needed to replaced it. There's a paddle with this one, which I don't remember being included with the original, the lid design is slightly different, and the cutting blade maybe feels a little thinner. Overall though, works exactly like the old one and still perfect for soup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT Have been using this since January 08, it is powerful and makes great smoothies. I have pureed fruits and ground biscuits for cake bases and this works perfectly. The thermoresist jug is a very solid piece of glass and can handle ice, nuts and other hard ingredients without risk of breaking. The stirring stick is great idea and mixes ingredients automatically. It has never leaked! I mention this because of past experience with other blenders. The whole unit comes apart, making it easy to clean. Highly recommend this, based on personal experience and results.
