Even temperature control for meats
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sous vide is amazing and i opted for medium to welldone steak, and the meat colouring was perfect. The temperature was very exact, controls were easy to use to adjust the timer and after finding a deep pot, it was time to wait a few hours. The meat colouring and flavour was great, especially after i have seared both ends. The inside of the meat is perfectly coloured and cooked to my family’s liking. Because i use a sandwich bag to put the meat in, cleaning the pot and sous vide machine was super easy and non greasy. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting restuarant cooked grade steaks.

Melt in your mouth, restaurant quality food at hom
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want to take your home cooking to the next level, the Westinghouse Sous Vide is an absolute game-changer! You don’t need vacuum-seal bags either, simple sandwich bags work just as well! The Kensington Sous Vide locks in flavors, juices, and tenderness in a way traditional cooking simply can’t match.
If you’re looking to impress guests or just want to enjoy five-star meals at home, the Westinghouse Sous Vide is a must-have. We have loved using it. Once the meat is finished in the sous vide we put it on the bbq for a couple of minutes and it is the best melt in your mouth meat I have ever had.

Super simple to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to try sous vide cooking at first, but the Westinghouse Sous Vide made it so easy! It's super simple to use - just attach it to a pot of water, set the temperature and timer, and you're good to go. I was amazed at how perfectly my steak cooked, and the cleanup was a breeze. Honestly, I don't know why I didn't try this sooner! The only thing I'd say is that it's a bit bulky to store, but that's a minor quibble. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend the Westinghouse Sous Vide to anyone looking to up their cooking game.

RVM Westinghouse sous vide 1200w
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with the product.
It's a relatively easy model for Sous Vide machines and works well.
I have currently gotten several good steaks out of it.
The machine isn't very loud, which is nice.
Don't think it has many cons compared to more advanced Sous Vide machines.
It gets the job done easy.
Works perfectly, if you like steaks cooked like the restaurants do them. Must sear after cooking for best results, not necessary but makes them look better. 30 seconds on high heat on each side. 100% happy. Energy efficiency is pretty good compared to other models

User friendly sous vide
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a sous vide appliance before and was very pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use. The instructions in the manual were very clear and straightforward, and there were useful guides included on the temperature ranges and cooking times for different types of meat, fish and vegetables. I used it to cook salmon and found that it heated the water very quickly, the temperature stayed consistent throughout the process, and my salmon was perfectly cooked with a fantastic texture in only 45 minutes. The appliance itself is not bulky, easy to use, clean and store, and looks sleek. I’m looking forward to cooking with it on a regular basis.

Restaurant Quality Steak At Home
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first experience with sous vide immersion cooking. Unfortunately I don't have a vacuum sealer to use with the machine, but I had some ziplock bags on hand that seemed to work ok. It was also slightly too big for my biggest pot & I require a slightly longer power cord to safely reach a power point while having the pot sitting onto the stove. Recommended cooking times varied so greatly that it really was a trial & error experiment to achieve the perfect results. With all that said, it really did produce the perfect steak. My husband has been the stack king in our house for many years, but even he had to admit, I nailed it with the help of this machine.

Good but takes time to cook
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Westinghouse sous vide immersion cooker is a useful kitchen tool that can make evenly cooked meat or eggs. It is relatively easy to use, with a digital screen and clamp for the side of the pot. However, as someone who has not used sous vide before I found it took a longer time than expected and can see myself reaching for it less often because of this. It also takes a bit of trial and error to cook the food the way you like. I’d recommend it as an easy, reliable cooking method if you have the time for it :)
