I got the Kitchen Aid 4.8L mixer in pink because it is her favourite colour and she couldn't believe her eyes. This is the top of the line mixer, it's professional grade and is becoming extremely popular on TikTok. I also bought mine with an engraving to make it more personal! Guys, do yourself a favour and if you have a significant other, buy them this mixer because it will change yours and their life! Now my girlfriend can't stop making cakes, I definitely am not complaining 😉

It was recommended to us from some old family friends who said that they had just passed down their mixer to the next generation - and it was still going strong after all these years! I wanted something for my daughter that would last, so that she would always remember her special day! She says it has changed her life! It’s a great appliance that has made baking a breeze. It’s very powerful, and makes it so much easier to mix ingredients. The 4.8 L bowl is the perfect size for most recipes, and the wide range of attachments makes it so versatile. Cleaning is a breeze, and I love that the head tilts back for easy access to the bowl. The KitchenAid Stand Mixer is a great addition to any kitchen!

I couldn't wait for it to arrive to try it out. What a difference to producing a light textured sour cream plum cake, does all the hard work of creaming for me, which had become hard manually with an injured elbow. Next am going to make a pavlova and then a Panatone which will do all the hard work for me. So really thrilled with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great choice I'm so glad that I finally decided to buy my very first Kitchenaid stand mixer. Been dreaming of one for a very long time and I finally did it. Just in time, too, cause my current stand mixer broke down the same day I collected my Kitchenaid delivery. Loving the colour and engraving and definitely will love using it. Only thing that took me off guard was how fast Speed 1 was. My previous stand mixer started off really slow whereas my Kitchenaid has a bit of speed already on 1.

I’m surprised at how strong and powerful it’s been, nothing slows it down. I got Dusty Rose and it’s a stunning color. Makes a beautiful focus piece on the bench top. Performance so far has been wonderful. I’d recommend getting the beater with spatula edge though, that is something I now regret.

Turns out I just didn’t have the right tools! Since using my KitchenAid dough hook and paddle my doughs have risen spectacularly and the end results have been so light and fluffy. It also saves me time as I can be cleaning up while the dough is being kneaded. I honestly wish I’d invested in one of these years ago!
