Rated 2 out of 5 by from EFC16222GC I have persevered with this vacuum cleaner as it cost quite a bit of money and I have a big house with carpet even though soon after I bought it the filter door on the base buckled and I couldn’t keep it closed unless I tied it up with string. I have tried various tapes to hold it closed but after about half an hour of vacuuming the door opens and I lose suction again. This is a fundamental floor with the machine.. the catch is simply not strong enough to hold the vacuum passing through the filter box.

( 3rd Electrolux in 40 years ). Excellent variable suction for different floor surfaces and different heads is a great addition to this product. Domestic assistant who also come fortnightly commented it is a gem to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this as had a cordless vac that I had to empty all the time and needed something that would do a bigger clean. The suction on this is crazy, my carpet has never been cleaner! It's also pretty easy to empty and light to move around the house :)

The heads seem pretty average, no where to hold the accessories, but that’s not a biggie for us. Misses seems to love it though

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I was impressed with my purchase in October 2022, but almost 2 years on I’m very disappointed. The vacuum keeps overheating not even 10 minutes into vacuuming, despite always looking after the machine. Guess I’m off to buy a new machine. Won’t be Electrolux.
