Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very impressive powerful cordless vacuum - but with a few reservations An incredibly powerful little vacuum cleaner especially with the power brush fitted, so far been very impressed with it, although a couple points to consider when buying, fairly short battery life with quite a long recharge time, spare batteries although they are not swappable. The waste collection bin is rather small meaning frequent emptying and it’s quite a messy hands on process. Overall and for the price a very impressive little vacuum cleaner for our first foray in Miele cordless, we would need a larger and much more expensive one for full time household use, but for a quick wizz round it’s very good, fortunately we have a Miele corded vacuum as well

This model comes with the extra accessories which are worthwhile; the extension hose for example allows you to use a brush attachment without having to hold the main unit, which is useful for getting into tight spots. The big downside is the barrel connector used for charging. When you slot the machine into its wall mount, you then have to plug the cable into the unit, which is fiddly. It would have been better if the mount had electrical contacts. The cable then had nowhere to go when you are using the unit so just falls onto the floor. I might work out a solution with some cable clips but really Miele's engineers should have thought of this.

Great to use on the stairs and in smaller spaces. I really like the automatic cutoff when it is fully charged. I recommend this vacuum cleaner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy for first stick vacuum Perfect 4 small apartment. Easy to set up. Excellent suction, love how it changes automatically on the surface your vacuuming. Charge holds up really well so far. Only con would be that I initially found it heavy where the ‘engine’ and canister part is (top part), but I’ve gotten used to it (strengthens arm)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleasantly Surprised!! Read lots of reviews before deciding on the Miele. The battery failed on our well-known brand model D**** "V8 Cat & Dog", so was looking around to replace with the same brand or explore others such as Miele. The Miele is more powerful on standard setting than the previous stick vac's Max setting. I see more fine powdery dust collected by the Miele than our previous stick vac. The auto detection from floor to rug is great. The powered head unit is easy to clean (note it will pull up fibres from rugs that you'll have to clean from the roller head. Two criticisms. 1. The bin is small and gets full quickly, so a minor irritation. Then again it forces you to empty it out and therefore maintain.maximum suction. 2. The Miele symbol on the plug of the charging cable is upside down when you plug it into the wall. For a premium.brand that prides itself on design, this is a surprising failure. Further on a double power point, you have to plug it in the LHS otherwise it covers the 2nd plug point. They would have been better off designing it so the plug is vertical. So Miele loses 1 Star for this basic oversight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would recommend this vacuum cleaner. Really pleased with the purchase,we currently have a Miele C34 (cat&dog) vacuum cleaner which has been extremely successful. With the offer available took the opportunity to tryout the Cordless vacuum cleaner, really impressed with it, and I do believe it is more powerful than the old vacuum cleaner on a full charge, and so versatile. If I could make an improvement,it would be to have a soft rubber grip to the underside of the handle,just to help people who do not have strong hands,( apart from this) I really do prefer this model to the plug in model.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too heavy for me I bought this because I love my Miele cylinder vac but wanted something more portable and quick to use. I have had a Dyson cordless vac before and found it top heavy and a pain having to actively hold the on trigger or it stopped. Unfortunately as soon as I put this together I realised it was just too heavy for me to use. Maybe the next model up that puts the motor and battery lower down the stick thus lowering the leverage would suit me but it is prohibitively expensive. I returned it immediately but had to wait weeks for the refund because it was on a 100 day trial offer even though I decided the day I got it and put it together that I couldn’t use it and normal online purchasing rules of refund should have applied. Rather dented my high opinion of Miele.
