Rated 3 out of 5 by Mattr32 from Not the greatest Purchased about 1 month ago. Far from a great vacuum. Ok for my small office, would not recommend for anything more than 1 room. The diameter of the pipe is about a 5c piece, very small so jambs up with next to nothing. Constantly have to empty the very small capacity drum as the motor starts screaming like it's blocked when it's only about 25% full, needs a cyclone action or something to keep the dust away from the cone filter to stop this. Auto detect is pretty useless, I just end up manually switching to full suction most the time. Only good thing is the auto empty base. This part I would give 5 stars. Vacuum only 2 stars.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Elrae from Not great for tall people. Flimsy and low powered. I bought this Vac 2 months ago. After looking at all the reviews I was very excited to get it home and start using it. My initial impression was that it felt a little flimsy and under powered compared to the Miele Triflex I was replacing. Another big issue I had was at over 6ft tall everytime I pulled the vac back towards me the head of the vac constantly locks into the upright position meaning I have to always stop to release the head back into the flat position required to vaccum efficiently. I do however love the automatic emptying feature and the ability to release the handle to vaccum under furniture.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dijy1 from Problems I bought this a couple of months back. Great vacuum except for a couple of floors 1. Wand keeps getting blocked at two points. Where the head is & where you can bend the wand to go under furniture. Debris gets caught on the concertina part & other debris builds up blocking it. Broom handles do not fit. I had to buy a piece of doweling in order to do this. Happens every time I vacuum 2. When it empties, debrie gets caught in the hinge making it not shut each time. You have to clean it each time. 3. Anything metal that gets picked up gets caught on the magnet making it impossible for it to close. A staple is one example.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always owned a Shark vacuum and have loved each one, but my new Shark Cordless Detect Pro has blown me away! With a furry pet at home, having a reliable vacuum is a must, and this one is my absolute favourite. It's super easy to use, has fantastic suction power, and it's unbelievably lightweight. Plus, its neutral colour makes it look great out in the open instead of hiding it away in a cupboard. It also reaches tricky spots easily, and the bendable arm combined with the cordless feature totally changes the cleaning game! And let's not forget the auto-empty system, it's like magic! I'd recommend this vacuum to anyone without a second thought! 11/10.

The vacuum tube constantly blocks due to the diameter being so small, almost each vacuum it needs to be pulled apart a d have something pushed through the tube to clear the blockage. The attachments are useless as the suction is so poor, and the main power head won't pick up anything larger than .microscopic dust. Purchased from a third party so no returns, has been an absolute waste of money, don't fall for the 5 star reviews. Really disappointing shark do not reply or respond to any of the reviews, I find this to be poor business practice.

Me and my family have been happy with our Shark Detect Pro cordless vacuum! 7 people & 4 fur baby’s a decent and reliable vaccum is essential in our household. I absolutely live for home & cleaning appliances and yes it is fantastic, easy to use and has great suction but I also can’t stop looking at it. Gorgeous colour, light weight, smooth, hard to reach corners approved. I have been looking for a a vaccum that has a bendable arm & cordless, I found it! The auto empty system is an absolute game changer, my kids now want turns vacuuming for the sake of watching the dust disappear! Magic 🪄

I am of limited ability and I need easy. This vacuum clogs almost every time I use it, sometimes multiple times a use. It is so frustrating. I thought it'd make life easier-it made it harder. It also doesn't pick everything up, not even close. It also doesn't get in the edges. I regret buying this every day as it causes me so much frustration.The only positives are that it self empties ( unless it clogs) and that its light. I don't think its fit for purpose if it can't vacuum a regular house

Rated 1 out of 5 by Reed from Avoid at all costs I bought this a few months ago. Immediately we had issues with it cutting out. I vacuum one room and then it blocks up! I am vacuum ingredients a low amount of dog fur and dust which somehow clogs the EXTREMELY narrow tube. The design is FLAWED. It also performs WORSE than our 10 yr old dyson (bought this to replace it)! IT has ZERO side suction and you DO have to go over sand 2 or 3 times! I saved for MONTHS for this and it is so deeply dissapointing, should have stuck with Dyson!!! There is also an odd pyramid plastic vessel inside the body which never empties. The one star is for the convenience of the auto empting feature but this is grossly outweighed by the need to unblock the tube and clean the filters EVERY USE! Avoid at all costs!

Thanks for your question. Yes, it does feature a button release which is used to separate the wand from the main unit, and includes several attachments for handheld use. You can also connect these to the wand for increased reach. Hope this helps! ^CO
