Amazing Product
I have been using this product for a week now. Amazing, it has dual band 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. I wanted to use 5GHz band to all my device for faster internet speed so I have purchased this device. Now all my devices now using only 5GHz and speed is always >40 Mbps on NBN 50 Plan. It has covered all my 2 story apartment, living room and 3 bedroom with 5GHz Band with full WiFi signal I have setup with only one Wifi name(SSID) and it works so no need to change Wifi name going from one bedroom to another.

Get an extended from a diffrent company.
I got this for dead spots but like another user said, it "was" slower than the main router. So I removed it, since it's counter productive.
I recently moved & tried using it again, the product is apparently not supported by Netgear anymore using their mywifiext.net. It's so funny because it specifically said "Model EX6400" or newer (this is EX6110)!
Now I can be creative & use this as a paper weight or a stress reliever by throwing it against a boulder (don't worry, I will pick up all the pieces & recycle them properly).

Very disappointed in this router extender
Unfortunately, I have to give this product a star. I just bought this range extender (3 days ago) to help with my wifi coverage and speed specifically for streaming live lectures for my masters degree. Every time I've tried to use the wifi with the router extender I've have to call support because the extender on my wifi is not connecting. I've reset the router now 3 times. I don't have the time nor desire to keep calling tech support and resetting this router every time I want to use it. I'll be returning it for my money back. I do not recommend this router extender. I'm very disappointed in this product.

Doesn't stay connected
No matter which outlet I put it in, I still get a higher MBPS connection from the original router, than the extender.. Seems kind of counter-intuitive. Used both main modem, and router, and both still don't work. And it doesn't even stay connected to the mode/router, even when in the same room. Constant disconnection, and no more than 40mbps, when my router gives 400mbps.

WiFi Range Extended to the Max!
The Netgear A 1200 Wi-Fi Range Extender was wonderfully easy to setup. Essentially plug and play. The signal is full strength throughout the house now and even reaches the extent of our garden. No more having to wait ages for sites to download onto the phone or tablet. Very impressive performance from such a small, unimposing and well priced piece of technology. Thank you Netgear.

Using 2 extenders
We use 2 extenders to get the wifi signal from the office to the house - an older netgear and an amped. The Amped with screen seemed to be loosing signal and needed resetting frequently, so I decided to replace it with another one from netgear. I was worried at first about accessing the extender and getting it on the right signal, but setup went according to the directions, and has worked flawlessly since. I have accessed both of them when signal was down, but it was not their fault, it was the router.
I realize now that, I should have set the new one up as the first extender, since it is faster, but, that's for another day.
If I ever need to replace the older one, it will be with another netgear.

Setup complete in minutes...
Completed the manual setup and it literally took 2 minutes and I was all set and ready to go!! Working from home through these challenging times is hard enough, this extender enabled me to set up our home office where we wanted with full Internet access. Could not recommend more!!

Time consuming
I was proud of myself that I got this extender to sync up. It even worked for awhile but then I would receive a no internet connection even though the lights were green. Several things I tried would 'kick start' it,ex:unplugging it,re-inputting the password for the extender or the streaming channel. Then 1 day my cell phone could not connect to the extender. The extender receives the signal from the router but will not transmit it to your device. I'm glad I read these reviews - into the trash can it goes
