Netgear Powerline 1000 + Wi-Fi Network Adapter is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little gizmo. The powerline gets ethernet to a remote building that is luckily on the same eclectic service as the main building. Great for streaming there. The wifi gets a signal out to parts of the yard that were way out of reach before. This was a million times easier than the other option, running Cat-5 out to that building.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works flawlessly first time No need for network cabling out to my shed. This 240V network adapter works perfectly, even on a separate circuit to the shed. Still getting great speeds of around 22Mbps or more off our NBN50 plan and the WiFi adds that extra convenience for laptops and mobiles. Would definitely recommend this one if you're looking to extend your home network easily

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Functional, But Need Extra Ports... Very reliable and easy to set up But would like to purchase additional ports that can simply plug into the current powerline network...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Might work for some, not for me. The components are solidly built. The initial install was simple. However, due to whatever complications within my home wiring system, the ethernet connection was poor everywhere. I had a look into the interface to see what might be changed to enhance the connection. Didn't see that changing anything would make a difference so left it as is. Reinstalled in various locations and the wifi connection just went non-existent. Could not log back in to interface. Reset, tinkered, tried for a couple of hours...and then gave up. Was able to return for store credit as unit may have been faulty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Power Line WiFi Had used something like this in the past with mixed results. Glad I tried this one. It is easy to set up and gives me the added coverage I needed around the house and yard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Child proof setup Setup was super easy. True plug and play. Plug into power point and modem in house & turn on, plug into power point in shed & turn on and there it is a wireless network in my shed. That simple and works in all 3 areas of shed even with steel walls for each. Also 3 to 4 metres range outside the shed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plug and play device Simple to set up, and works as described. Having the red/amber/green throughput light makes setting it up very easy, especially considering I am on a 3 phase power supply, so getting the unit onto the same phase was easy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just didn't work You can't buy a further unit from Harvey Norman. If you have rcd in your switch board this interferes with the transmission. I have max internet but only get 90mbs at the computer upstairs.
