Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great piece of kit for our feral Shiba Inu I really like this, not sure what people's expectations are that it's got bad reviews. Our Shiba is prone to going nose down into hunt mode and completely deaf in the bush. We've used it to retrieve her several times. Setting it up to go into low power mode when she's in range of our wifi we get about four days easy on a charge. If you have it in live tracking mode where it updates all the time obviously it chews more battery. Really, for peace of mind this is awesome and much cheaper than retrieving your dog from the pound, and the stress of hunting the neighbourhood or park when she's done a runner. Obviously it need cellphone coverage to work but even on Waiheke we have had no issues.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Monthly fees and accuracy issues As a a GPS tracker it does an ok job. The monthly subscription fees are a bit expensive for what it offers. The digital fence is sort of too good to be true. It kept warning us that our dog has left the property while he was sitting right next to me. The only good thing is their customer service.they keep their word and return your money right away if you don’t think its for you within 30 days. We have already returned the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tractive GPS Tracker works great for my kitties Works great and Tractive loss plan is really good peace of mind that the tracker is covered even if your furry friend loses it. I use this for my cats who are tiny (3.5-4.0 kg) and I was worried this would be too big and heavy for them, but they seem very comfortable with it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Subscription pitfall I'm sure the tracker is fine, but the subscription you'd have to pay to actually use is is astronomical, and quite frankly, ridiculous. It's not HN's fault, rather, the brand's, Tractive. 2-5 years locked in= No thank you!

Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within 2 days. Delivery costs are calculated based on your location and the size of your order. Furniture may take up to 8 weeks to deliver as most products are made specifically for your order. Some Customer Direct products are shipped from overseas and may take longer to arrive. Some goods may take longer to deliver if a product is currently not in stock. A staff member will contact you where this occurs.

Easy returns

If you feel your product has failed a Consumer Guarantee (as defined by New Zealand Consumer Law) then don't worry you can easily return it to your local Harvey Norman store. We'll even pay for the postage if you live in an area where there is no store. Our returns policy covers any purchased item ( conditions apply).

Excellent question, the overseas manufacturer don't ship to NZ and our NZ supplier do not sell the replacement clips. They do, however, hold some for warranty purposes.

Does the gps works in Brazil? Does the gps works without phone (Bluetooth) signal

Thanks for your question. The tracker contains an inbuilt SIM card and uses this to send data back to your app using the cell network. Good cell coverage ensures the tracker can maintain connection to send accurate position updates regularly. It can connect to all major cell networks in over 175 countries worldwide. In general, the Tractive GPS works wherever your cell phone works. Connectivity GPS, LTE/4G, 2G. Trust this helps!

The Basic plan includes Location updates, Live Tracking, and Activity & Sleep with wellness features while the Premium includes the above as well as Family Sharing, Global coverage, 365 day location history, and a GPS data export.
