Rated 4 out of 5 by from Premium quality, with robust safety and ease of us LOCKLY elite was a great investment with a robust feature set that’s lined up with modern needs. The kit came with little placards to make it easy for short term rentals as well as home use. The settings in the app allow for tracking fingerprints, codes and notifications of who used what or even if the door has been manually opened. Installation was pretty straightforward. I would recommend for the manufacturer to adjust the usage of the double sided tape or advise to have 2 people with you while installing. Also would be nice if it came with a small square of sanding paper to smooth paint from an old lock or to smooth out any wood drilling

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Professional Locksmith's Review I love the convenience of remote locking and unlocking! The doorbell should have been larger with a "Ringing Bell" symbol engraved on it. The unit's camera and solar charger is obstructed by my Anderson storm door. I have a problem with the volume on my end of the cell phone, and it is the only app that has that problem. I do love the extra battery pack, and battery level indicator. The lock should have had the option of both Schlage and Kwikset keyways. The install must be perfect, without the bolt having any binding of friction during operation. I have installed an EZVIZ video doorbell camera on the door frame so I can see who is at the door.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great for the right family I bought this 4 years ago and have had a few issues with it. This is powered by 8 AA batteries. When the batteries run low, you could change them all, but that would completely ruin your day. Updating firmware was also an issue as it would disconnect and take forever to reconnect and download the firmware despite having super fast WiFi. This is a great item for eliminating keys to enter your home. Fingerprint, remote access, and randomized personal pin numbers are great options for controlling access to your home. The camera leaves a little to be desired, but that could be due to other factors not related to the lock. Set up could be lengthy, but worth it in the long run. Might to do more research in the future when purchasing another Lockly product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features- Excellent all in one safety I bought this excellent invention and safety device for my new home I built back home in India. The remote wifi operation works perfect for me as I can open or lock or check status of my front door even from Los Angeles or anywhere in the world. I get notifications where ever I am. The digit location changing feature fails theives as they can't trace the fingure touch wear and tear on the key pad. Calling bell and the video camera gives me live video anywhere in the world. It's a great show off to others explaining and showing the safety features of this wonderful device. Solar panel keeps the battery from going dead, if it does due to lack of recharging the battery or low sunlight, 9v battery will power the lock temporarily to open. I can go on and on. But I can tell nobody would be disappointed with this lock. It's really a Smart device for your Smart home.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great overall Lock I bought this lock about 6 months ago for residential use and for the most part I am very happy with it. Now I did have a could issues which I believe are firmware issues at which I sent the lock to Lockly for review and they sent me a replacement after a couple days of diagnosing. Issues to improve I believe there is a need to improve on the Lock and the Hub itself, as the directions say the Hub has to be a certain distance from the lock and the hub connects to the hub by ethernet, this isn't always possible depending on a data jack near by. So this is the main issue i had during set up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from mixed review I installed this on the gate of my business and it went in pretty easily. We love the changing face when you punch in your combo, but many other features are spotty at best: The automatic locking option is a real problem as sometimes it locks before the gate is closed, essentially locking it open! The battery is not lasting nearly as long as I would have hoped, about a week, 2 at the most. Also, the app is really bad: If someone rings the bell there is a long delay before it shows up on our phones, and thus far, we have not been able to get our voices heard at the door. I'm never really sure if the door is really locked, there's a long delay if I do it from my phone and sometimes when it says it's locked, it isn't. We've extended our wifi and there is a great signal at the door so that isn't the problem. If I can find a more reliable solution I'll probably replace this unit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well built product except… The lock is very well built. A lot of features that are very nice. The only reason that I cannot give it a five star is the camera. In normal dayl/night conditions, the camera is very good. But when somebody walks up to the door I cannot see their face. The face is very dark as they approach the door. So if you don’t get a good view of them before they get within, I’d say 12 foot of the camera you won’t be able to tell who it is unless you recognize the body in the hair. I’m not a camera expert, but I’m guessing that it’s an issue issue with the camera not having HDR. Also, my door configuration may not be helping as my door sets back in to a little cubby area with a overhang over the porch of about 4 foot

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential Gear for Short Term Rental Owners The features of this lock are truly cutting edge, from the PIN Genies which prevents prying eyes from memorizing a code as it is input, to the video recording of people approaching the door. The video recording is especially helpful in monitoring the number of people entering the home, therefore drastically cutting down on unauthorized guests using the unit beyond what is listed in the booking or rental agreement. Beyond the great lock, the customer service from Lockly is top-tier quality and responds promptly to any inquiries or issues. Highly recommended product and company
