Not as I expected
Purchased this system hoping to significantly reduce false alarms because it has PIR, but it is not. Leaves blown by wind, Sun comes out of the cloud would cause alarms. On foggy or rainy nights, water droplets would cause endless alarms (change to color mode instead of night-vision would reduce the alarms but darker video). It also throws false human/vehicle alarms (no human in field of view and my car in the driveway was stationary). Can only send videos to Dropbox on two cameras, pictures only for other camera. Also, basic analytics features such as PID, LCD, etc. are not available in this newer model. If I knew it I would purchase an older model. 4K videos are great and clear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first experience with any type of security cameras and I was able to install them in a little under 2 hours. The hardest part was definitely crawling through the attic to run the wire but I am blown away by the clarity of the picture now that they’re installed. The instructions were very easy to follow and I like the fact that all the setup is done directly through the tv. I do wish the system had come with a paper manual though. I’ve still got a few kinks to work out like decreasing the sensitivity so I don’t receive so many notifications but overall I’m super impressed.

I am configuring this product and to connect with a web browser and it needs Internet Explorer 8 or later. Who even uses Internet Explorer anymore? Your alternatives get worse, you can also use Firefox 51 or earlier (this version came out in January 2017 and is no longer supported, anywhere) or Chrome 44 or earlier (this version came out July 2015 and is no longer supported, anywhere).
Selling a security product that doesn't support modern secure web browsers is a huge oversight.
Maybe you can encourage Swann to drag their security into the 21st century like the rest of us.

Awesome system
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never been happier with a security system. The pictures from the cameras are crystal clear and easy to identify faces. Even at night I have no problem seeing what is going on and the lights are very bright. Installation and set up was very simple and I was able to do the majority of the work by myself. I work in a multi-million dollar manufacturing facility and I frequently have to monitor the cameras, and the video on their system is nowhere near as clear as my new home system. I might have to make a suggestion about switching to a Swann system at work. Super impressed and happy with the performance of this system.

This is an upgrade to a system that I already had in place. I was looking for 4K. The picture quality is great. The installation was very easy. The mobile app and web viewing is so much better than the previous system I had. Swann makes everything simple. I have not set up the thermal zones yet but I am very happy that I upgraded the system,

This system does it all ,I can adjust each camera to cover any kind of security needed for any area. Quality metal camera's not cheap plastic.I researched every brand of security system out there before buying this one. There are cheaper price one's but there not real security systems. This is a real professional system.

So much piece of mind
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although there really haven't been any serious problems in my nieghborhood , having my touring motorcycle often parked in the driveway has always concerned me. That and the safety concerns for friends and family finally prompted me to get a security system. I'm so happy with my choice ! I still have one more camera to add but so happy with the clarity (day or night) , the motion sensing and just what a great choice this was. Took a little more planning than a wireless system but so worth it ! No dead battery's in the camera when it's cold and snowing ! Perfect solution and a lot of piece of mind . And the extra amount of memory is a game changer
