Rated 1 out of 5 by from BEWARE OF THIS PRODUCT If you are intending to use this furniture outdoors, DO NOT purchase. Within 3 weeks of having on our deck, the top of the table began to warp and pull away from the framing. Wood began peeling, black spots/marks appeared resembling mould. Chair arms and table legs began to form varying sizes of cracks. Definitely not fit for purpose! Returned to Harvey Norman with a full refund, one staff member mentioned this has happened before...so no surprises. HN should really consider not selling this product any longer.

Hi there. The actual timber is Kauri gum. FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world's forests. Since its foundation in 1994, FSC has grown to become the world's most respected and widespread forest certification system. This shows the timber is not sourced from jungles but certified plantations. Hope this helps
