Rated 5 out of 5 by from First A+ from Dentist Thank You Sonicare Gum Care! I was told by my dentist to start perio maintenance cleanings every 3 months. I used this Sonicare Gum Care brush head in between cleanings. I missed a cleaning due to the office being closed. At my recent appointment I had a new dentist who had reviewed my chart and previous visit notes. My new dentist said they could tell I had been flossing and brushing regularly, and that I may be eligible to stop perio maintenance appointments if I continue to improve so dramatically. My gums are tighter and no longer bleed during flossing and dental exams! IT is key to floss, then brush, then rinse. My dentist also recommended using a water flosser with 1:1 ratio of warm water to mouthwash!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cleanest Teeth Ever [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Sonicare toothbrushes for almost two decades and they have been key to my oral health. I always get great reports from the dentist on how great of shape my teeth and gums are in, and I owe it all to Sonicare. I have seen the fancier brush heads For the Sonicare, but always just stuck to the tried-and-true regular ones because I did not think there would be much of a difference. Well, I was wrong! This brush head is a huge upgrade over the basic ones. My teeth feel even cleaner which is remarkable. The other thing I super love about this head in the soft rubber on the back of it. No more buzzing my teeth accidentally with hard plastic. Thank you Sonicare!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to try the Philips Sonicare G3 Premium Gum Care toothbrush replacement heads when I needed new heads for my Sonicare toothbrush and I am so glad I chose these! First of all I have very sensitive gums so I am always nervous about trying new brush heads but these feel so good on my gums with no sensitivity whatsoever! Also, I find the Gum Care brush heads far superior to the Diamond Care that came with my toothbrush. I’ll be buying the Gum Care brush heads from now on!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as described I chose these brush heads because the description states they are soft-bristled, which makes sense given that they're marketed for "gum care," and my dentist recommends a soft toothbrush. As soon as I started using them I checked the packaging because the bristles are so firm. The package says medium, so the product listing is rather misleading. I'm disappointed with this purchase.

I purchased these heads and within 2 weeks the bristles started falling out. This is the 2nd time within the past year this has happened to me. I do not know the exact toothbrush head I used last time, but I believe it was one of the ones for gum health. I despearately need to order new heads I just wish I knew what I have used in the past.

These seem to do the trick in cleaning without damaging my gums further. I would recommend for people facing the same issue or those who just want to focus more on this area. Also, I like that these heads are flexible so you can kind of navigate specifically where you want to reach.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Why keep changing things I have always used the G2 heads on my Sonicare toothbrush. I have sensitive teeth and gums and a small mouth with overcrowded teeth. The G2 was perfect allowing me to reach all areas. Now this is no longer available so I bought the G3 heads in my last purchase. I do not like them. The bristles feel harder and the head is bigger. I find it difficult to manoeuvre around my mouth and am not convinced that the tooth contact is as good, especially as the outer bristles are shorter so I am not sure they always make contact. Maybe this is due to the larger head size not being suitable for me. I don’t feel as if my teeth are as clean as with the old G2. Please consider bringing the G2 back for those of us that like a smaller toothbrush head. In the meantime I am trying to find retailers who still have stocks of the G2 and when I can no longer source them it looks like I will have to find another toothbrush, which won’t be Phillips if they don’t produce compact heads.
