Great shaver for guys or girls
This shaver is great. I bought it to shave my legs when I'm in a rush to go out and find it gives a nice close clean shave. I would recommend it for either girls or guys as if it can cut the hairs on my legs, it's going to be great for guys beards.

Just what I was looking for
This shaver is corded so the shaver-specific power outlet beneath the mirror in my bathroom isn’t wasted and can serve the purpose I installed it for. It also gives a smooth shave, has an inbuilt trimmer, and is priced right.

DO NOT BUY! Life is too short
The R2 takes so long to clear my face of hairs it is not only a waste of money - it is a waste of time. Further, the manual says to expect some rashes and sore skin until your face adjusts and/or the shaver wears in. After 1 year with this useless shaver I still have rashes and still have a sore face after every shave. I bought it because batteries wear out faster than the blades and corded is better for the environment and it was at the cheaper end of the options available. But I expect a shave to take < 5 minutes - not 15 minutes! And it refuses to shave certain hairs at all!
I've had Remington shavers before and they've been okay. BUT NOT THIS ONE. The brand damage this razor must be doing to Remington's brand must be enormous. I've had 6-7 electric shavers since I started shaving and this one is by far the worst ... by a long long way.
Don't buy this shaver - it is waste of money! And your time! You have been warned.
