Sleek, slim and great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Flip 7 a few weeks ago and I am impressed with the performance upgrade of the new flip. I have always had either the flip or the folds and was excited to try this new one. The build is much lighter and thinner compared to the flip 6, the screen is larger on the outside and clearer.
I am definitely impressed by the new upgrade.

More than I ever imagined, excellent, innovative.

The phone is strong, durable, water resistent and very comfortable to handle and use. Heaps of battery life and I love the new AI component, I can just ask the phone what I want to find instead of having to type it. I love the connectivity to my watch, TV, reading devices and apps. The quality of photos and the detail I am able to snap are incredible. I absolutely love this phone and love Samsung.

I finally took the plunge and love it. Yes there is a slight bump in the screen where it folds but has no impact on how I use the phone. Such a small form factor when folded and in your pocket. It folds up small enough to fit in my smallest purse, yet when opened, the display is big and beautiful. The cover screen is super handy for quick replies, music control, and taking selfies without opening the phone. Battery life is solid, easily lasting all day. The camera works well for everyday pictures, though low light could be better. Overall, it’s stylish, functional, and fun to use.

Camera is good on it, similar to other phones but not top-tier impressive. Also about camera, not sure if it's just a Z Flip7 problem, but when I take a picture in the dark it seems to blur it so there's no point in having the picture. The non-ai version is really good but once it does it there no going back. Display is really good, but brightness lackes a little. Performance is really good assuming its a Samsung Chip not Snapdragon in the phone. Battery is not great, but charging speed is really good (my last phone was a Nothing 3a) Durability seems fine but the hinge does start to go creak a bit when it's comes impacted with things. I'm not trying to diss my phone though, it's really good and I would recommend just a few thoughts for the Flip8.

Obsessed flip phone user!

The redisigned flex window looks awesome, and I am really enjoying the new brief feature; it is truly a great addition. However, my absolute favorite feature, something that was undoubtedly needed, is the ability to converse with the google assistant on the cover screen without opening your phone. Love it love love it.

Love my flip phone!!

I love being able to use my front screen when I’m busy & don’t want to get to distracted on my phone, quick and easy access to incoming msgs, Spotify or calendar.

Cameras are better, the battery is better and the phone is also (ever so slightly) thinner - I also love the new Blue colour!
The cover screen on the old Flip 5 didn't get used as much as it could have been, but this one is Massive! I now use it for everything. Anyone who has owned an earlier flip phone, knows about the "bump" when scrolling on the main screen, Glad to say its gone too the screen is flat now. Its a fantastic upgrade.

A great evolution to foldables!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded my z flip 4 to a flip 7 and was really surprised by the improvments. The less noticable crease in the fold. The phone actually shuts completely preventing dust to go on the screen. The camera position change on the outside screen minimises my fat fingers getting in the shot whist taking selfies. The enlarged outer screen makes quite a difference. The phone battery life is improved slightly but this might be the efficiency of the phones processor chip set being better, not the battery size.
I am not really a tech guy but the AI features of Gemini really educational and fun to play with. With Samsungs pledge to dish out 7 years of phone updates, I am really happy with my purchase.

Great flip phone

I love the front screen, its just like using the normal screen without having the hassle of unfolding into the big phone. Bit disappointing that more widgets aren't available by default but thanks to Good Lock app I was able to add the ones I wanted. I've only had the phone a week so can't comment on the durability yet although the silicone case i bought to go with it keeps coming away in places which isn't ideal.

Love the camera

It's a nice phone.
I had a flip 5 and traded it in for a 7. The hinge/fold feels better but time will tell whether the screen cover lifts at the edges on the fold.
The other features are not that much different if im honest. Better front screen but still a little restricted on what widgets you can display.
Im not a big AI user so can't comment on any fancy stuff that AI does now.
Would recommend you buy a silicone case and not the clear case as its not a great fit compared to the silicone.
Charges quicker and holds battery longer which is a bonus.

Compact and Great Features

It's compact (fits in my purses and pockets) and good battery life that lasts me through the day. The photo AI to remove objects has improved so much from my S20 FE. Gaming has been no issue and the storage capacity has been great. It's been fun customizing everything and I'm so glad I bought it!
The only issue I've noticed is how apps are displayed on the cover screen (sometimes it cuts off the sides).

Finally fits my pocket

Well with the ZFold7 it has become a reality, With a closed thickness about 2 mm more than my old S23 Ultra I couldn't believe they could fit so many features and power into such a slim profile. Even with my protective case it easily goes into my pocket. I can now have all the functionality of a normal phone as well as a fold out screen for video playback and work spreadsheets etc.
I love this phone so much.

Fantastic camera

I was worried about the quality of the camera before this but seeing it in person and trying it out has definitely assured me that it's a good camera! The battery lasts all day even when I'm messaging a lot or listening to music etc (compared to previous versions that I would have to charge by late afternoon). It's really convenient being able to flip the phone to half of its size meaning it can fit into small pockets or bags. I really like the camera, the pictures it takes are very good and being a Samsung I find it very user friendly. The front screen is an added bonus meaning I don't have to open the phone to answer messages/turn off alarms or control my music, plus can add widgets so I always have a few convenient apps I can use without having to open the phone. I would definitely recommend the Samsung Flip 7

Fantastic Form Factor and extrremely mini screen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought the Flip 7 a couple of weeks ago. I had no real desire to take the leap on a new phone as my old phone was serviceable. The Flip 7 had convinced my fold devices were now at a great place with non visable fold lines and solid rigidity. The device is snappy and functional. The device fits so well in your pocket and I found I use the mini screen much more than I had thought. I currently love the Flip 7 its been an ultra reliable device with solid battery life.

Amazing Phone

The flip feels so good and looks amazing. I get so many comments about it. Battery is good getting through a day of normal use. Camera takes amazing pics and can shoot in RAW if needed for detailed editing. Phone is well built and durable. Cannot recommend enough. I came over from and Apple 16 Pro Max and I don't miss it at all.

Not bad but not great

Had a bad experience with the screen case and cover but i want to be able to use the front screen just as well as the main screen although i know some things need the big screen for. It be good if the orientation could change on the front screen. Hopefully cause its early stages there will be buttons on the crease bit of the fold edge where it says samsung. Customisation drop down option on the front screen like i cant even turn my hot spot on wiyh out opening the main screen. I do love it but there is more imprpvements needed to get it to that perfect phone for consumers. Pick me i need a new phone case lol

Great updates to an already fantastic phone

The new hinge was the first thing I noticed. It is much smoother from day one. The cover screen is a big improvement and makes doing more tasks, with the phone closed, possible. The wider main screen now looks proportionally correct and not long and thin. Both screens are bright and clear.
The larger battery is noticeable in the extra time it gives you.
I have used a flip phone since the Flip3 series and this is the best by far!

It's a very good phone. It looks good and works well. Its key fault is it lacks UWB. Before buying (taking advantage of the pre launch deals) after looking through the specs on the Samsung site which were not detailed enough, I'd asked a Samsung agent if it had UWB in an online chat and was told categorically it did. When a need UWB I'll have to give the ZFlip 7 to one of the kids and revert to my S24+. Very annoying.

I'm in love!

I love the innovative design that gives me a early 2000s nostalgia feel of a flip phone but with contemporary glam. If I were to pick on anything, it would be the minor bump around the fold area when the phone is open, this is purely superficial and doesn't affect the operation of the phone. Overall I would give this a rating of eight out of 10, highly recommend.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Honest Review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked the Galaxy Z Flip 7 in coral red, and I love how it looks — sleek, bold, and really sophisticated. The design is super slim and pocket-friendly, and the new bigger cover screen makes it much more useful than older Flip models. It's great for quick replies, checking maps, or using the camera without opening the phone.
Performance is smooth for everyday use, and the battery lasts me a full day. The camera is decent but not amazing — good enough for social media, but not flagship-level. Charging is also on the slower side.
Overall, I’m really happy with it. It feels fun, stylish, and different from anything else out there. Just be a bit careful — it’s still a foldable phone, so not as tough as regular ones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it last month and I have still to get used to android, I am not a big fan of the keyboard auto correct features as it is still a bit slow, but the camera is good for selfies as you can see yourself and use the back camera as well but the zoom could use some improvements with the video quality, overall it is a very good phone and you can’t see the grease in the middle which I’m happy about but you can’t still feel it sometimes but it’s not a big deal breaker.

Great performance and features

Folding into the future
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive had this phone for a little over a week and have been very impressed with the quality and versatility of the folding screen.
The improvements to the hinge make a massive difference in minimising any crease when unfolded and feels quite sturdy.
I'm still amazed at the overall dimensions of the phone, especially at how thin it has been made, but doesnt feel fragile in anyway.
Well done to the design team on the huge improvements made to the fold series.

What a phone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have just bought this for my wife as a replacement for her Flip6. This is just as good, but slimmer and better built. The battery seems to be lasting all day. The photos from the camera are phenomenal and we can't believe how clear the images are on the screen and the colours are wonderful.
Even though she has had a flip 6 for a year, the performance on this new phone is awesome.
I love the metal case, which makes the phone very durable, but still very light.

Great improvement!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seeing this phone at the galaxy experience, I truly think it is a wonderful and innovative phone. I remember thinking a few years back that it was interesting, but more like a novelty device instead of a phone someone would want to use daily. But Samsung has fixed that problem, making the crease less visible and less noticeable to the touch, made it lighter and more durable, and filled it with loads of features. And the camera is top notch, with great battery life
