Latest store and online shopping update

Harvey Norman New Zealand would like to thank our staff and customers for their continued support.

As you will be aware, as of midnight on Tuesday 21 September, Auckland is at Alert Level 3 and the rest of the country is at Alert Level 2.

We are committed to safeguarding the health, safety and wellbeing of our customers, employees and communities and will adhere to the Government’s guidelines for social distancing and cleaning. We ask all our customers to follow the instructions of our staff and work with us to ensure the safety of your family and ours.

All our products are available to purchase online for Contactless Delivery or Contactless Click & Collect. Stores remain closed.

Online orders

In-store safety

PPE
  • Face coverings are legally required to be worn by staff and customers at Alert Level 2.
  • Additional PPE may be worn by our team for their safety. Perspex barriers are also in place at our cashier desks.
Social Distancing
  • Social distancing of two metres between customers and staff is legally required at Alert Level 2.
Personal Hygiene
  • Hand Sanitiser is available throughout our stores for staff and customers.
Contactless Services
  • We encourage customers to utilise Paywave, Online Purchasing, Contactless Click & Collect and Contactless Delivery. You can also request that your receipt is sent by email!
Enhanced Cleaning and Hygiene Practices
  • We will be cleaning frequently touched objects, including EFTPOS machines, phones and benches.
Contact Tracing
  • We will be contact tracing our team, deliveries and pickups by contractors, and suppliers coming on to the premises. Customers are encouraged to scan the COVID-19 contact tracing QR code, or complete our paper-based contact tracing register, when shopping.

When will Auckland stores re-open?

We will be following the Government’s advice regarding the lockdown and will open our stores as we are advised it is safe to do so.

Can I pick my order up from the store?

If your region is in level 4, your local store will be closed, and we will be unable to facilitate Click & Collect orders. However, you can still get your order delivered. If your region is in level 3 or lower you can place an order for Contactless Click & Collect. Read more about out Contactless Click & Collect protocols.

Can I get my order delivered?

During the level 4 lockdown, we can offer contactless delivery of online orders.

When will I receive my order?

You will receive an email when your order has been processed for delivery. There may be delays in preparing orders for dispatch and for courier delivery. Please be patient during this time.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?

Yes, you will be able to cancel your online order and request a refund. Please note, if your order is in transit with a courier or delivery company, we will be unable to facilitate a return and process a refund during the lockdown.

I have received my item but it is damaged or not working properly, what do I do? If

If you believe your item is damaged or not working as it should be – please contact us to assist. We will do everything we can to solve the issue while the lockdown is in place, but we appreciate your patience if this is not possible and we need to wait until normal operations have resumed.

I have a question about my in-store order/purchase, who should I contact?

If your local store is at level 4 staff are available 9am - 5pm daily to take your phone calls. If your local store is at level 3 staff are available during normal store hours (excluding late nights) to take your call - they will be happy to assist in any way they can. Find My Store
