Rated 5 out of 5 by from Konic KVD-802 Mini CD/DVD Player This unit is a compact design CD / DVD player which replaced our previous player, a Transonic unit, virtually feature for feature. It does exactly what we wanted and expected but with a smaller footprint. It comes with an infrared remote controller which adds to our collection! I can't fault the operation and performance, so a very good $34 worth thank you. I don't know how they can build one for that price but I suppose mass production and automation helps. It was not in stock when ordered online, but Harvey Norman shipped one in from another branch very quickly. This was good service. Very good value for money, especially with the warranty included and cheaper than many second hand units checked. Thanks Harvey Norman.

Great question! No, the Konic Compact CD & DVD Player with Multi-Zone (KVD-802) does not have HDMI connectivity. It connects via RCA cables (red, white, and yellow). Hope this helps^RR

I am purchasing this for an elderly person who has an older Samsung tv but not sure of the model. would this product be suitable. I am assuming unit will not have a usb port. Thank you

Great question Steph! While this model does not have an HDMI connectivity, it does come with an RCA cable. Your TV will need to have the red, white, and yellow ports for cable connection. Trust this helps! ^CO

Hi there. This is a multi-zone device. This plays DVD movies and music from any region in the world. The DVD player can play NTSC , PAL, PAL-M. No region locking, which means yes this can play Region 2 DVDs. We trust this helps with your query

what is max size of usb it can play?

Thanks for your question. This is sadly not stated on the product box or manual, and not available from the supplier. According to the instructions, as long as the USB is formatted in FAT32 format, data should be readable by the unit. Hope this helps. ^CO

Thanks for your question, Joe. There's a couple of options you can try - put the component cable into DVD, connect Green to Yellow, Red to Red, White to White. Alternatively, an AV to HDMI converter may work. Trust this helps. ^DG
