NOT SATISFIEDWe like the compact system and it is good sound quality using the streaming system from Wireless connection, and CDs BUT the Radio feature via the signal radio wave is poor. FM works just about okay with a hiss, but the DAB mode is intermittent. We have checked the signal quality as in the manual and often it shows NO SIGNAL. Fiddling with the flimsy wire aerial sometimes helps. Another digital radio with a solid metal extendable aerial antenna in the house works perfectly indicating strong signal. We suggest a better design of aerial is required. Have you had other complaints about this feature Please send us a better designed aerial ASAP.

Panasonic does it again!I was given this product to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer programme but my review is totally impartial and I have tested the product for a week before leaving my review. I unpacked the day it arrived... surprised by the small size of the box but once out I was impressed bye sleek design and neatness. It's very modern looking but unobtrusive so would fit into many decors seamlessly. I tested the CD player and the radio immediately... both very simple yo use and self explanatory. The sound quality is superb... even at very high volumes and playing opera and classical music which had no distortion at all. I connected it to my chromecast with no problems at all, it's so much simpler to play my Spotify and YouTube playlists straight to the stereo instead of through my television which is clunky and without the same sound benefits. All in all I love it... A week later I have wall mounted it out of the reach of toddler fingers but the bigger children can still use with ease... they love bopping around to music. We use it every day and are looking into getting compatible output devices and a Google Home to use in conjunction with it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would pay retail prices.

Panasonic Reviewer for the new Panasonic HC2020Playing music from my mobile, together with the Panasonic music app was very good. Using my "Bluetooth headphones,i was able to hear my music all over the house. I was disappointed with the display it was not very bright and the scrolling text was poor. A OLED Display would have been nice together with being able to see the menus on the TV, as i had to get close in order to see the menus. I am not a fan of multifunction keys,and there is no,exit or back button on the remote control. These are my own personal opinions. It is a very nice piece of kit.

I would recommend to all and everyone!I was given this product to review by Panasonic as part of their reviewing programme. I was so pleased to eeceive this as it was already on my short list of things to buy. Not dissapointed at all. Lovely design and looks grsat in my kitchen. Sets up really easy and even got tge network aspect first time. Remote control provided lets you do everything you need to, ecen sound fields bass treble ect. Comes with a neat wall bracket which I will be using soon to. Google assistant takes a little time to master but a nice if not essential fewture. Panasonic have improvexd dab reception so thats a big plus to. Overall really feel blessed to have tried this out. Well done Panasonic. Going to consider the assistant speaker to go with this now and fill my home full of accesible media.

Awesome soundAs soon as this arrived I unpacked it and listened to the radio whilst ironing. I was immediately impressed with the sound quality. I found it very easy to set up with Chromecast built it. When steaming Spotify from my iPad the sound is truly awesome from the 40w speakers. My son is equally impressed with the deep base. The CD player is accessed from the front neat sliding panel and I have enjoyed playing some of my old collection of cds with excellent sound quality. I'm sure as I get more used to this system I will discover more features. I intend to buy the Panasonic smart speaker to compete This system can be wall mounted. I am very pleased to receive this product which has been given to me as part of the reviewer programme. Thank you

Small, beautiful & powerfulI was given the SC-HC2020EBK Compact Stereo System by Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer programme. Be assured my review is not skewed as a result of being chosen for the review. Indeed, I am a skeptic who has been converted! I was prejudiced on receiving the package; my initial judgment was "Such a small box, hmmm!" How true! - "Don't judge a book by its cover!" Box unpacked - it was the wow factor! The system is sleek ... It fits any space! I placed it in the living room - classic; I took it to the bedroom - magical! In a nutshell ... Look - tick! Set-up ... certainly non-complicated; no specialist knowledge required! - tick! Variety of music options including Google Assistant - tick, tick, tick, tick! Panasonic Music Control App - very user friendly - tick! And the sound. Mama Mia! My opinion has always been that a big speaker will guarantee a rich sound. I have changed that opinion - tick, tick, tick! You will have to hear it to believe it!

Sleek looks and decent soundThis product was bought for the dining room to give background sound whilst dining. It's a modern system with all of the necessary inputs such as bluetooth, DAB radio and CD that we required. It's a compact, sleek design which fits with the decor without being too obtrusive. The sound quality is more then adequate although we have tried it at a loud volume when the limitations of the speakers are apparent.

i purchased this radio a few months ago.
i actually wanted to be able to use the radio.
but for some reason the radio does not find any channels, do i need another cord to make this happen

Thanks for a great question Christine. There should 2 extensions included in the box, 1 should be a wire, 1 will essentially be a small box. Both need to be connected to the system in order to receive FM/AM signals. If you do not have these, these can be purchased from some retailers and connected. If you have this connected already and still do not have signal, it could be you are in a blind spot for signal and would need a different adapter to receive signal. Hope this helps!
